I do get what you and tlance are saying (as winning a title is not easy for anyone), but not sure pointing to mismanagement and bad deals as an excuse to say the Process didn't fail makes sense. Are we saying only the deals that worked should be considered?

I guess my point is that the process succeeded.
It is the decisions they made after they stopped tanking that will likely prevent them from winning a title.
They had the talent, the assets and the cap space to build a legitimate dynasty.
Could say the same about Portland with Oden and Roy. But career ending knee injuries back to back years killed that.
