I think you’re going to need a third team because the Warriors roster doesn’t really match up for what the Sixers would want coming back. If all they can get back for a Simmons is a Wiseman Oubre or Wiggins then it makes more sense to hold out on a 25 year old adding to his game. He’s still an All Star that averages 15,8,8 and is first team All NBA defense if he doesn’t improve at all. The value of those guys I mentioned from the Warriors would still be there next off season.

Probably.

In terms of assets it works.

But you are correct.

Need a 3rd team in rebuild mode with a very good player they are willing to move

It seems like the Warriors want to part with Wiseman. Wiseman can be sent to a team looking for a young big man.

I don’t think they want to part with him.

But if they want to go get an impact player to pair with Klay, Curry, Dray and Wiggins…

Then Wiseman and those picks are the assets the Dubs can move to get there.

translation, beal needs to figure out if he wants to play in golden state lol

If he decides he wants out, that is going to be fun to watch. There are going to be some crazy rumors going around.

I heard your Celtics would be the primary suitor in the Beal sweepstakes

Part of what will make a Beal trade interesting is that he has a player option after next season. So he does have some leverage to try to get himself to a team of his choice.

I have been thinking about it.

It could work.

Simmons could play the Iguodala role, but better.

Somebody has to come off the bench, not sure who, but Curry, Klay, Simmons, Dray and Wiggins is 1 hell of a death lineup.

That would work.

Would also be nice to somehow add a role player big who can shoot a little bit and be a 5th starter/7th man type.
If they keep Wiggins it works but he's both the only realistic player that can be included for matching salaries and the only player Philly would want (along with Wiseman and the first round picks).

Sorry but I don't like Simmons to the Warriors for fit reasons and what you have to give up. The odds makers already have the Ws with like the 4th best odds to win it all after the Bucks, Lakers, and Nets with what they have and that's before drafting.

the odds that anyone they draft this year helps them in the playoffs is pretty low.

turning Wiggins and looney into maybe beal and bertans could be fun

Beal doesn't fit either why isn't this obvious to people?

he’s not the best fit.

but 1) it’s a better fit than dame

2) it can be rammed in and fit

3) it’s the only obvious star available and these gs guys will think it’s the right move anyway lol
