Yeah. In my mind you deal Simmons because:
1) You can add a top level guard that can get his own shot to pair with Embiid
2) Internally they know that if they don’t shed Simmons that Embiid is gonna force himself out soon.

The league is hoping 2 applies because at that point Morey would trade Simmons for a Gatorade bucket and a rack of balls.

Yeah getting Beal moved for Wiseman, the 7 and 14 this year, and more picks and young players (Maxey?) seems like a pretty good haul but maybe I'm biased.

There's always salary filler that can be thrown into a deal to make that work. And don't picks count as salary, the higher the pick the more it counts?

I don’t think so.

But…

If the Warriors draft the player the Wizards want, pretty sure they can swap later.

Just have to have the framework done beforehand to make sure they draft the right guy.
