Wtf is going on In cle

I’m fairly certain that the Celtics can fit nance in with their remaining hayward tpe

we’ll give you 45 and a future second and you don’t eat any salary to move nance
I mean, at this point just a rumor and not like there is any accountability to report any rumors.

Sounds like they’re trying to get ahead of a cap problem

man nance fits Boston so perfectly.
could be wrong, but seems the problem involves them keeping/paying Sexton and allen. If they do that they will end up way over cap regardless as I suspect they will also pay Garland. Not sure how getting rid of one of best non-rookie deals helps.

But who knows?

Keeps them from being a tax paying lottery team

I actually like Altman and moves he's made over the last couple seasons but in today's league you only have so much time for the rebuild. If they pick Mobley and make the right trades/moves that could be the turning point OR it could be disaster. I have hope but lets get this straight, the Cavs aren't magically going to be a playoff team they are still very young.
Nail the pick and stay healthy I think they'll contend for playoffs next season....especially in East with play-in.

I don't think that happens as Sexton new deal would not start until 22-23 (or later?) and Garland after that. Love and other deals can be off books by then.

Man, this is weird. I can’t see why Miami would value Ben Simmons unless they plan on parting with Jimmy Butler. Those two cats don’t get along.

I don’t get Harrel’s decision.

Another year like last and he will have minimal value. He needs to play somewhere where he can have a bigger role. Not another team in the league where Harrell would play less.

I'm surprised too. Maybe a deal with Kuzma is already in the works and not announced? Or AD will play more 5?

My bet is that narrative may have been overblown.

Butler spoke very negatively about the Philly culture. I always attributed that to Brown.

He was also very public about his disdain for Wiggins in Minnesota.

I never heard of him saying anything bad about Simmons. You would know better than me if he did, but Butler is the type of guy who will tell the world if he isn’t happy with someone or something.

I can see that. But there’s been one than one reporter who covers the team who have stepped out and said that the two had a hard time coexisting together. The Kawhi year in Toronto when they eliminated the Sixers in 7, the story was that Ben Simmons was pissed that Brown took him off the ball and utilized Butler in that role in the playoffs.
