Take Mobley when they have Love and Allen?
Love can't even stay on the court. Rumors are the FO is intrigued by the combo of Allen and Mobley

Honestly, Love would be a great fit on the Lakers if he could stay healthy. Play him at C and AD at PF and tell him to play close to the basket, score 15ppg or so and rebound the ball. He's played with James so that's a nice plus. Not sure what we would be able to trade to the Cavs....

Speaking of Schroder didn't the Lakers offer him a nice contract but he turned it down?

Lakers offered him 4/$84 million. He wants $100-120 million. I think the only way he gets that is if it's a sign and trade. Even then, he and the Lakers would need to be able to convince another team that what happened this past season was an anomaly.

That may be difficult to do seeing as the Lakers are his 3rd or 4th team in 5 years.

Think we offered 4 years and 80 mill.

That's still too much. You mentioned in a different comment how players demands are getting outta had, I agree. So are these contracts. I'll never be able to afford a real nice seat at any game.

That's just insanity at it's finest. A career average of 14.3 isn't worth that kinda money in my opinion.

If they get love, I'd think it would be for his 3 point shooting (37% compared to 31% for AD) and some rebounding. Putting him in the paint is likely to get him injured, not to mention the lack of defense.

Which is at least part of why they are looking to sign and trade him.

He'd still shoot some 3's but not as much IMO.

I don't blame the Lakers for wanting to trade him. But right now doesn't look like any teams are interested.
