Bro, DJ is near washed.

Howard is a better defender at this point, and historically, Gasol is better offensively and as a creator.

When you factor in Davis' minutes at center, Jordan is basically injury, Howard doing something stupid to get tossed insurance.

I never said he wasn’t almost done but I said this months ago…Gasol likely won’t be on the roster and I am not surprised if he likely retires. I get what people are saying he is a better fit on O bc he can spread the floor but his time has ended. He has very little to offer other than his shot. DJ before the covid year was getting 10 and 10. I’m not saying he is superman still but he is still more reliable than Gasol. There is a reason why Gasol was questionable to even be on the roster for months now.
So really it comes down to whether we trust the Nets or Lakers are smarter? Well they are different situatuons, the Nets might have questions about his health but I think anyone would drop a 33 yo center if they saved $40M and Aldridge came out of retirement. Gasol will likely be cut bc he literally needs to retire. Big difference it was a move BKN had to make. Like I said earlier, if Millsap and DJ are washed—-Gasol is dead.

The Nets and Lakers are championship are bust, so he is going from one contender to another…must be nice lol

Washed may be a little too harsh a word but I don't see him having much of an impact at all.

His ppg average has dropped each of the last four seasons. He'll be 37 before next season ends. And last season he averaged less than 10 ppg for the first time since his second season in the league. In NBA years a senior citizen. But even with all that begin said in short bursts he should be able help the Nets bench.
