Yeah washed is a player that doesn’t belong in the league at all, Millsap can contribute off the bench

Washed is a player who used to be a solid All-Star, coming off the bench to play 15 minutes a game and will most likely average no more than 5 or 6ppg

Solid is too much. Well below average for his position I would say.
Well what are we really expecting from a backup forward who will probably get 15-20 mpg? For me it is 5-7 ppg and solid defense/hit some shots. Think he can do that

Speaking of Marc Gasol…that’s probably it for him. I believe I was saying this earlier in the offseason and I got some people saying he can still contribute. Pretty sure @tlance or @bksballer89 was one or both that agreed with me on that but I can’r remember. Nope, he shouldn’t be in the league. Retire.

Then Marc Gasol is dead

Yeah, those vets who only play about 15-20 minutes a game can still have impact. Especially late in the season and the playoffs.

For example, in 2020, Rajon Rondo averaged about 20 minutes a game and was such a non-factor during the regular season that I remember some Lakers fans wondering why he was on the team.

Then the playoffs started and you can make a case that he was the most important player on the team not named Lebron or AD. He kept the flow of the offense when Lebron was off the floor and hit big shot after big shot all playoffs long.

Washed doesn't mean what he can do now, it means what he used to be able to do compared to what he can do now.
No doubt he'll be able to contribute some way or another. But he's nowhere near the guy he was in Atlanta

That's what 'washed' means to me. Guys like Gasol, Dwight, DeAndre Jordan, Rondo and Aldridge are examples of that too, That's no disrespect to them - it's just father time being undefeated.
