my point is the cavs need to keep churning abs burning until they find those guys, like Philly did.

Philly started the big sell off in 2013, and didn’t land Simmons until 2016 while embiid was hurt
Well the only thing they can do is keep drafting and that’s what they are doing.

OK...and they traded up and screwed it up. Could have stayed at 3 and just taken Tatum. But 1, 3 and 3 still better than 5, 5 and 8. This isn't golf.

Basically you are complimenting the lottery combos falling their way.

No man.

You clearly don’t get it at all.

The reason they were in position to draft Embiid, Simmons, and Fultz (Tatum) was because they first traded Holiday, MCW, and took big swings on upside, injured rookies like Noel and Embiid instead of drafting safer options.

That is not what the Cavs have done.

Now, could still work for Cleveland if Mobley is that good, but that is not at all how Philly built their core.

Sexton is a lot better than MCW. But I guess they could deal him so you could rip the Cavs for making a bad trade down the road?

win-win?

Sexton is a lot better than MCW.

However, the Sixers traded him not long after he won rookie of the year because they correctly identified that he had value and that he was not their cornerstone.

The point is that the Cavs have gone through a very standard rebuild up until now and they didn’t even really tank at all.

The 6ers sold current assets for future assets for years so they could continue to suck.

Not really comparable.

My point is they should start doing that. Starting with sexton and nance

Thunder took down the Pistons in their first rookie league game. Maledon and Robison-Earl with big games.

i liked okoro more than most. Im Fine with Mobley

but when I suggested that getting everything kuminga or even pick 10 this year for sexton you would’ve thought I said pick 50 with the way the cavs fans reacted here
I am sure if they could have dealt SExton for pick 10 they would have instantly.

His point ( I believe) is by trading Holiday and MCW it allowed them to be in the position to draft Simmons and Embiid because they sucked so much....they did not stay the course

Fuck me, I see wiggy is back writing essays about the Cavs nobody gives a shit about
I mean, I get it, it's his team, he follows them really closely, it's what fans do. But it's kind of sad to think how no matter what he types, no matter what he discerns correctly, that his team will never win another title ever. And he knows it.
