Oh my bad, thought you meant one of the odd men out of like Sheffield or Dunn. No idea why, but I really don’t want them giving up Williamson. I just envision him being the Mariners Josh Hader. I am cool with giving up Marte, Kyle Lewis, Evan White, Hancock/Kirby, then toss in Then of whoever for the A’s trio. Only issue with doing that trade is come trade deadline, where they need a Marte or the other top pitching prospect to deal. Granted if all works out, the Mariners will only be looking to bolster their bullpen and won’t cost them a top 10 prospect.
No it wasn't written well. I wish Sheffield and/or Dunn had value. I still like Dunn and think he has incredible stuff, but he needs control and health. Two tuff things to get sometimes.

I haven't seen Williamson enough to know what kind of pitcher he is or will be. I will take your lead on that. I would love to have a Hader on the back end.

Well that isn't a good sign. Are we hard up for a few thousand dollars?

Orioles acquired RHP Tommy Wilson from the Mariners for cash considerations.

Of course it's Mariners president of baseball operations Jerry Dipoto that pulls off a minor-league trade during a lockout-imposed major-league transaction freeze. Wilson was just selected from the Mets by Seattle in the third round of Wednesday's MiLB Rule 5 Draft. The 25-year-old right-hander posted a 2.35 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 18/5 K/BB ratio across 15 1/3 innings over 10 relief appearances at Double-A Binghamton last year. His father, Thomas Wilson, was the actor who played Biff in "Back to the Future." Seriously, we can't make this stuff up.

Setup . The Orioles didn't have another pick . Just another way to cheat the rules .

I will admit I have only seen him on milbtv a couple of times and have read write ups on him. Just to me as an couch scout, it seems his spot in baseball is in the bullpen. IMO he is kind of a higher rated Edwin Diaz, where cut the innings will keep the velocity higher. Couch potato scouting and wishful thinking is he can be the lefty they need in the pen.

after a better look....ya have to think he could make it.....strike outs are low...like fraley......obp..is on the verge...so is slg...obp..is all..so..close..
you would think he would hit maybe 300. at AAA..with some..bit of .... improvment... ...but...he has to do it at...MLB...to....stick...the landing..
(gymnastics) on the mariners....need hit..above..200..above 220 -230or at ...would be good

Starting with right-hander Nolan Hoffman and ending with Carlos Santiago, a total of 51 selections were made in the 2021 Minor League phase of the Rule 5 Draft. The complete results are posted below.
Typically, the Rule 5 Draft consists of Major League and Minor League phases, but since all Major League transactions are frozen until a new Collective Bargaining Agreement is in place, only the Minor League phase took place during this year's Winter Meetings. The Major League phase may be rescheduled once a new CBA is in place.

aaahhh i see...so he could be at AA..or AAA....i see...so he will..not have..to stick the landing....and i give him a good chance.....for whatever...that..
is worth....(cant be much..if at all)
