I am sure Milwaukee is already working on an extension with Holiday. If not, they are fucked if he walks after next season.

Doung everything they can to keep GiannisBucks got Bogdanovic. Now him with Jrue is a difference maker.
Giannis is laughing right now. Jrue doesn't move the needle that much for Milwaukee, at least not to contend with the Lakers. And they just nuked all of their draft capital.

Holiday will be up for a 4 year $135M deal next year. Boggy extension is $15M I believe. Giannis supermax...that is a lot of money for just 4 players including Middleton’s huge salaryGiannis is laughing right now. I may be drunk but am I seriously reading 3 first round picks and some picks swaps for fucking Jrue Holiday? Milwaukee must be even more drunk than I am
I'll be honest. I don't think Jrue Holiday makes that much of a difference. He's just a nice player that happened to make an all star team. But the way some people (media included) talk about him, they act like he's some perennial all star talent. They'll be better, but not that much better. I'll put it this way. If he were on the Bucks this past season, I still say the Heat win that series just like they did
Imo, getting Schroder and keeping Kuzma is a better deal.
They improved the team, still have him as a trade piece if something comes up later and if they don't trade him, they still have a solid young player who hasn't hit his prime yet.
Maybe Pelinka knows what he's doing after all? lol

The deals to acquire both Jrue Holiday and Bogdan Bogdanovic took practically every asset the Bucks had left, but the team now projects to have one of the NBA’s best starting lineups, according to Eric Nehm of The Athletic, who notes that Milwaukee’s new additions will join Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton, and Brook Lopez in the starting five.
As Nehm writes, the Bucks’ aggressive roster overhaul should eliminate any doubt that the franchise is serious about getting Antetokounmpo the help he needs to win a title. However, the acquisitions will leave the club hard-capped and with little flexibility to fill out the rest of the roster.
Because Holiday has a series of likely and unlikely bonuses that count toward the hard cap, the Bucks will probably be limited to minimum-salary contracts as they look to fill out their roster and keep team salary below $138,928,000, tweets ESPN’s Bobby Marks.
By my rough calculations, Milwaukee would have about $27.3MM in room below the hard cap to fit in Bogdanovic’s starting salary and minimum-salary contracts for seven players. That would get the Bucks to 14 players, not counting two-ways, though they could carry just 13 for parts of the season in order to create a little more cap flexibility.
Yep and really everything fell into place for the Lakers and those players played well. Gonna be an obstacle for sure. It's gonna be tough. They should be able to get a couple of decent vets looking to get a ring on minimum deals. Which will help.
Basically, they'll have to take the approach the Lakers (and to an extent, the Warriors when they got KD) did. Try to keep a starter on the floor at all times and hope the bench can outperform expectations.
He may have played himself out of their price range and from what I understand, he's been talking to the Clippers, but if I'm the Bucks, I'd be giving Rondo a call.
