I'd like to see the league go to a Christmas Day through July/August schedule permanently. I think it would be great for the league to not have to spend the first couple of months of the season competing with the NFL.

The problem for this season is that it just ended. So for the playoff teams, that a short turnaround. But, there are also teams who haven't played a game since what? March? April?

Maybe a January start this year, then start Christmas Day for 2021-22?

Yeah thats my issue. Season just ended for the teams who made the conference finals. A Christmas day start don't even give the Heat/Lakers a full 2 months off. The next season should start mid January. MLK day would be ideal. Its a holiday and we can have all day basketball

Start mid January and play 60 games.

Next season can get back to XMas day start.
