Interested in this stretch. Will be nice to see Lock cement his legacy by becoming the last Broncos QB to demolish Brady.

And getting another W against Belichick will be nice as well.

Will be tough taking on Thursday Night though.

So can someone explain to me how the Chargers are going to go from 5-11 to 9-10 wins and finish ahead of the Broncos? Is Tyrod Taylor or Justin Herbert going to play better the Phillip Rivers? Is Derwin James worth 4-5 wins?

There are some predictions out there that I just don’t understand, and such a bounce back year for the Chargers is one of them.

Yeah, I don't get the hype either. Had someone tell me they expect the Chargers to be better than us this year because they "don't trust" Drew Lock and that the Chargers have a "great" passing attack. Lock is no proven commodity, but I trust him a heck of a lot more than a raw rookie like Herbert.

To me there are other teams being overly optimistic on their season. Here is my list:

• Tampa Bay: Was the New England struggles completely on the supporting cast, or has Tom started to decline? I know Winston turned the ball over a lot, but he also is able to make some throws that Tom can't. They may be fantastic and win 11 games, but I am a little skeptical.
• New England: Stidham is not a sure thing and the supporting cast will really need to step up from last year for them to push for a wild card as some are predicting. They do have a good defense.
• Tennessee: Tannehill has not been overly consistent and they are relying on the run game to setup the pass. They did lose their RT. They might be great, or not so much.

We already covered the Chargers.

Tampa had a top 3 offense last year Unless Tom falls off the cliff they are my favorite in the NFC. If he throws half as many InTs (15) that will help the defense tremendously.
