Notice Letang is in on that play. They were pass happy and they have no finishers. Letang is horrible. And watching Marino is disturbing. He is not good handling the puck and was absolutely atrocious during OT. Their D is pathetic. Malkintent freaking sucks.

Marino is actually pretty good, youth is the factor against him at the moment. He will get better. With that said PO Joseph's offensive awareness is there already and would like to see him used more in those situations.

As for that turnover that lost the game against Boston, Crosby really shouldn't have passed that to Marino. Marino was the end of the shift and already surrounded by Bruins really was in a tough spot.

Also let me add as soon as Rust saw Letang rushing the play he should have tripped him.
By no means ever should you ever have Letang and Malkin on a 2-0 together.

He shouldn't have been out there in OT anyway after the hit he took earlier in the game.

I think young players like him needed more pre-season but he should be fine. The rest of the overpaid bunch is awful and what scares me.

That hit should have been a boarding penalty plus he launched into Marino

Defense is still hot garb, injuries piling up... but I gotta say... I'm impressed with POJ so far. He seems to play with more experience than he has.
