Lets look at possible Russell destinations if he is dealt.

1A.) is the Twolves as they supposedly had the most interest in him.

I would GUESS that a package would involve Covington- but a lot more salary would have to go back to GSW than just Covington. Covington is signed for this year, plus 2 more years at a very reasonable rate. Its not like they are giving up a lotto pick or young talent like culver along with Covington.

2.) Suns? After signing Rubio- unless the Warriors were willing to take back Rubio in a deal i dont see it happening.

3.) Knicks? Knicks arent trading Barrett. Does a DSJ or Knox get you going? - plus gotta add in salary--- Portis or Randle? still need more salary.

4.) Magic? i dunno

I think you can safely cross off the: Celtics, Nets, Sixers, Clippers, Lakers, Kings, Cavs, Pacers, Bucks, Hawks, Nuggets, Jazz, Mavs, Rockets, Grizz, Pelicans, Spurs without a second thought

Teague isn’t getting a big contract next summer.

But I definitely think he would be a great get for GS as a role player/scoring guard off the bench.

And Covington is younger upgrade over Iggy.

So yes. 2 high quality role players and a young wing defender for Iggy, Livingston and 2 picks.

as i said- wouldnt work anyway with the cap- IF Minnesota even wanted to do it in the first place.

Their 3 stars are fantastic together, but they have no depth.

I believe DLo can be used to address that.

Philly and Milwaukee definitely downgraded their rosters this summer. Maybe Brooklyn will be for real when they get KD back, but maybe not. Kyrie and KD are both weird dudes. Not sure how that will work.

Boston will not be better than GS with Klay back. Not even sure they will be better than GS without Klay. Lakers maybe, maybe not.

He never stopped playing him, he quit starting him in favor of a young, stud, who is the C here for hopefully a very long time.

No I'm not on his block list. But he does remind me from time to time how I've dishonored the entire city of Cleveland & I'm not a Browns or Indians fan because the Cavs aren't my # 1 NBA team.
