My question was, what 8 players do Cavs have that are better then Beasley.
That line was 2nd part of question.

That was actually an @TurnUpTheHeat question to which I replied probably Love as they were 7-9 when he came back after injury (in 15+ minutes) and they added Garland. He deflected, of course.

Agree......though they can win more than 24.5. Must stay in the top 10.

yah they cant give up that pick- thats critical.

Chances are they will be a bottom 10 win team, but it won’t be because players aren’t trying or because of healthy scratches.

As I am wont to do I saw a direct question and answered. Yes, at the end I said I hope they don't win much more....or at least not enough to lose that pick. You deflected which was not a surprise.

So, taken as a whole, its pretty clear Im asking for Cavs 8 players better then Beasley.

Not sure anyone has ever said it's because players aren't trying.

There are some, especially among more casual fans, who seem to think that when a team tanks, the players aren't trying.

Once the season starts and which teams are tanking becomes obvious, you'll likely see some folks who don't post on the NBA forum much, show up and talk about players not trying.

As the 100% peace keeper of the NBA threads I'll say every player on the Cavs right now is better than Beasley because he's not on an NBA roster.

what's pretty clear is you ask who will help them win those games and I answered. Might not be the answer you wanted.

But if you want 8 better than Beasley I'll say Sexton, Love, Cedi, TT, Clarkson, Nance for sure. Only a rookie, but have to think Garland and every team would take him over beasley.

That's 7. Probably Zizic and and Henson. Maybe Porter and Windler but lower picks so too soon to know.

If the Lakers fail to get Iggy I don't mind taking a shot at him as long as he understands he's coming off the bench and not getting a lot of minutes unless he earns them.

It's his last chance at ever playing in the NBA again, let alone having a chance to win a title. Plus he's lebron's buddy so he'll keep him in check.

That's the problem with Melo.

He doesn't understand that his role needs to be situational super-sub some nights and possible dnp-fat ass chucker on others.

I don't see Memphis buying Iggy out unless he gives back most of his salary.

Too many teams willing to trade for him.

But, most can't until Dec. 15th.

Oh no doubt many think this.....but I think those who really know the NBA realize players on the floor try. The tank would be done by the FO and/or coach who may not find the best players or put the best ones on the court.

My question was in response to Wiggys comment saying Beasley was a terrible 7-8 option.
Must have went over your head.

And, to confirm, based on your list, Beasley prob falls right around that number on the roster.
