Miami tried to remain competitive by getting Brian Grant and Anthony Mason to team up with Eddie Jones, Tim Hardaway and Zo. Zo just happened to go down with a kidney disease that torpedo'd that team from going at a title. Miami didn't purposefully tank, we were dealt shit luck and got a consolation out of it.

Exactly.
Did Spurs tank to get Duncan?

Of course not.
Same scenario.

You are proving my point. Lakers had a bad team, and thus didn't make the playoffs. Toronto has a good team and even with Kawhi playing similar games to lebron they still made the playoffs, and won

Not sure why that is so hard for you to understand lol

So are you counting in that the Raptors were healthy across the board during the season, and didn't have the AD trade rumors where afterwards, most of the team checked out? Of course not, because you're an idiot.

Yes Kawhi played in all 82 games and was perfectly healthy...I agree!

And they definitely didn't have to deal with a brand new team, or him possibly leaving the following year all season long and being a free agent!

So according to lebron23james math winning around .621% of your games is very bad. Well going 51-31 is a .622 winning %. Just turrible I say!

The Cavs started a season once 12-0...Is 82-0 1.000 winning % good?

Good teams find ways to still make the playoffs with injuries, bad teams don't...Or have Celtic fans make excuses for them? You remind me of that fish that hangs on the side of sharks lol

Hope you can put two and two together!

I haven't made any excuses for them. But I can see how you'd be so stubborn to think mentioning what really happened is somehow making excuses. You just keep that special brand of crazy going.

Bro they were 37-45 last year. Lebron played in 60 of those games. They just weren't very good lmao

Check your math. LeBron didn't play in 60 games last year.

If they were good wouldn't they have overcome their circumstances and been better than 37-45? If they were really a .622 winning team in your small sample size you keep clutching dearly lol, don't you think they would have at least been say .500?

The Raptors are the world champs. Everyone acknowledged that Kawhi missed games; the rest of the roster was healthy. The Lakers dealt with more injuries than that of the Raps.

So the other injuries to the team didn't factor into the season the Lakers had? What you're saying is the lost season's all on LeBron shoulders. Got it.

This is the same guy that said I should be a Magic fan simply because I live closer to Orlando than Miami. Ignoring that in the last few years I've lived in Washington and Texas. Fucking tool.

You can make excuses all day long but it won't change the fact that they weren't very good. They were..

They had no offense...

24 out of 30 on offense and 12 out of 30 on defense ...The #'s speak for themselves...Go back and find me a team that is 24 worst on offense that has ever been any good?

Lowery missed 15 games

Kawhi missed 22 games

Vanfleet missed 18 games

Ibaka missed 8 games

= Perfectly healthy lol

Yeah they were a bad team. Once the injury bug started hitting them.

They were a bad team before the injuries....There is pretty good reason to believe they wouldn't have maintained that early 5th seed. I believe early in the season, rockets were the 14th seed and warriors were 8th. Nothing meant anything yet. Is that really all you got? lol

LeBron came back, declared playoff mode activation because he was perfectly healthy and ready to do his best, and proceeded to lose almost every single game since because he doesn't have HOF teammates and an easy conference to feast on

You pointing to the beginning of a season is embarrassing, you stoned again?

To be fair, not sure how healthy he ever was down the stretch.
No excuse.
Just an opinion.

Yea, maybe those minutes finally caught up with him. I wanna see what he looks like next year. I don't really see a smooth season, because i don't think he can handle a full season anymore.
