@Gman @Wamu figured you guys would appreciate this

Yeah... multiple sources have now testified to the fact that Kyrie is just a weird, downer of a guy.

It's still a little to near to laugh too much about it, though.

This creates an interesting situation for the Sixers.

If they were to do a sign and trade and take Gordon and Capela from the Rockets, that would alleviate their luxury tax bill significantly. Also would be less risk.

OTOH, Butler is a big time player that would be missed.

I wish I had a clue what the Sixers were thinking.

Embiid and Capela would be an interesting combo, @flyerhawk .

Shades of Tim Duncan and David Robinson... ? ... (in a different era that has moved away from that sort of thing)

Sometimes it's best to just laugh through the pain.

Don't know how they're going to do that. There's absolutely nothing I want from Houston's roster. Capella is overpaid as is Paul.

I dont see how it benefits Philly in any way. Having Butler is better than Gordon and Capela imo

I disagree about Capela. He didn't look good in the Warriors series but he is a good C for his money especially when you include the defense as he can guard multiple positions and really good on the pick and roll. Does need to develop a post move or work on a jump shot to improve his offense.

Hard to complain about 17 and 13 with solid defense. He had a career year actually.

Had some bad moments in the Warriors series but wouldn't call him overpaid at all.

I just would challenge him to do something improve his offense just as I would do to Ben Simmons.

I disagree. I don't see how Butler, Harden, and Paul would work.

Gordon and Capela are crucial to their success.

Gordon doesn't need the ball in his hands a lot as he is a really good catch and shoot player while Capela (along with Tucker) is pretty clearly their best defenders and can guard multiple positions.

If two ball dominant guards don't work, why not add a third to balance it out. Makes complete sense.

Don't know how reliable the source is but if true, you gotta think he'll find his way to the Lakers on a low deal. Warriors should probably poke around him as well given their depth situation

And probably sign with the Lakers.

They can't afford to give Leonard what he would command as a premier FA.

I know. Which is why I'm surprised his name is even mentioned in Lakers free agency rumors
