List your top 20 players
I'm adding Jokic, George, Westbrook, KAT, Kyrie, Dipo, Kemba, Klay, Butler, Simmons...

I know Dipo was hurt. He's still top 20.

Some don't appreciate Simmons because of his lack of shooting.

So, maybe they will sub him out for Spida or Gobert?

That's my top 20.

Honorable mention to Blake and DLo

A difference?!?!

* sobs quietly *

Has LeBron ever had that?

2 legit inside and outside threats that are big men?

Shaq was washed.

Bosh was a lesser version of Davis's POTENTIAL.

I say potential because Bosh still got it done at a high level playing with a minimum of 3 other HoFers, I'm counting Allen.

Less see if Davis can do it surrounded by other good scoring options.

Don't @ me Heat Fans. Bosh was awesome and could have put up bigger numbers had he not been a Heatle.

But, he was never...THIS...on both sides of the ball.

The Lakers should use the Philly approach with Embiid, or at the very least, sit Boogie till XMas like the Dubs.

If he's healthy and in shape by playoff time?

:tsk:
I think there is PROBABLY a reason why Boogie has signed consecutive 1 year deals that add up to less than 10M. Watching those Finals, as a person that was rooting for the Raptors, I was not one big scared of Cousins being in the game.

Right now he looks like a guy that cant play any D and needs the ball a lot and isnt particularly efficient. That could still be hangover from the injury, or maybe its something hes just lost.

Lakers have a shot for sure.

But If I had to bet today, I am betting LAC.

Just think the Lakers will find it more difficult guarding Clippers’ speed than Clippers will guarding Lakers’ size.

maybe so, coach. but I'm thinking the "advantage" they have in that area isn't as pronounced as one might imagine. And hey, it's STILL basketball. size DOES matter... :D

we'll see, though...

Okay, this is off the top of my head so may miss someone:

Kawhi- W
KD- E
Giannis- E
LeBron- W
Curry- W
AD- W
Harden- W
Lillard- W
Embiid- E
George- W
Jokic- W
KAT- W
Russ- W
Kyrie - E
Klay- W
Butler- E
Beal- E
Kemba- E
Gobert- W
Mitchell- W

Obviously the last few names on here are debateable and I probably missed 1 or 2 somewhere.

That is 13-20 West, but more importantly, 5 of the top 7, 10 of the top 13 and #2 on that list is out for the season.

West still has most of the leagues’ truly elite players. East might have more guys in the 15-40 range, but we all know that does not matter as much.

Yeah I agree for the most part.

I still for the life of me don't get why more free agents don't go east knowing how loaded the West are with stars.

Doncic is not a better player than Butler right now.

I also think Gobert is too high. Dude is borderline top 20 at best.

Give me Klay and Dipo (healthy of course) over him any day

Problem is age and speed.

You are depending on the two oldest guys on your team to set the table for everyone.

The Lakers can't use their size advantage if the Clippers put Trezl or fake Dikembe at the 5.

The Clippers can match the Lakers offensively with Davis at the 5.

But, you can't match us, theoretically, defensively.

Who is Kuzma guarding?

He's barbecue chicken on George or Kawhi.

Send a double, Shamet or Lou sticks a needle in your eye.

Agree.

Either way, it's a no brainer to sign him at that price.

If he gets back to being a reasonable facsimile of himself, it's a win for them.

Hard to say.

Best guess is climate.

Many more cold weather cities in the East. And most of the Eastern warm weather cities play in small markets and have not been good enough to attract a FA (Orlando, Charlotte, Atlanta- although they are clearly on the rise)

Even Washington from the South division gets pretty darn cold in the winter.

Yeah, your list is pretty spot on.

Beal deserves to be on there.

I gave Simmons the nod over Luka.

But, that kid is a STAR.

The weather in alotta places?

There are only 4 big markets with great weather out west (Clippers, Lakers, Houston, and Dallas) and I can't remember the last time Dallas signed a big name free agent.
