That contract is rough. Not many teams are gonna take it. I thought Miami earlier but I'm not sure they have the pieces to make it work. But with the league being as wide open as it is, I could see some teams biting the bullet and going for it. Detroit comes to mind. Like imo, they still wouldn't win, but from their perspective I could see them saying "We've been 8th or 9th for years. We've got Blake. If we get Russ, we'll be better". They'll convince themselves of being better than a 4 seed
Raptors?

Gasol and filler.

But, I like Detroit.

That's a good guess.

Be hilarious to ship Reggie Jackson back.

Lakers get DeMarcus Cousins

Totally fine with this. Personally, I thought he didn't look good when he came back. He doesn't move well AT ALL so I doubt he ever gets back to what he was or really even close. But he's absolutely worth taking that risk for the price tag. More teams should have been willing to take the chance

Most beers you'd pass up on. Can't turn down a contract that offers Shiner though

Zubac to Clips is very nice. Only big man they had was Harrell. Cousins and AD pairing with Lebron could be nice...we will see though

You know Clarkson signed with Klutch?

You'll see him again....lol
Not that crazy really. Sure, they got rid of him to clear space for a max player, but they didn't get the second guy so wouldn't hurt to add him as an expiring contract and a guy who can play some.

What they could give up for him? That's another story as not sure when they have a pick they can trade.

Lakers really need to find a way to get a front court defender now, especially one that can switch. Kuzma/Boogie/McGee is rough defensively.

I agree with skip

Players are single-minded about that Shit.

Me, me, me and then we.

Durant wanted to be in Brooklyn with Kyrie.

He obviously committed to that way before free agency began.

Best of luck, happy to have who we got.

Said about SG-A. But, cost of doing business.

I don’t see cousins providing any meaningful help at this point.

I have no issue with it, but it it what it is.
Not my fault if its not a top choice destination for NBA players vs many other cities.
Tell the truth. It's probably bottom 5 or less. Correct?

You act like I'm talking personally about a family member or something.
To an NBA player? Bottom 5 is fair, I guess, but not sure they really differentiate over places like Cleveland, Milwaukee, Detroit, Indiana, Minnesota, OKC, Portland, Memphis, SA (maybe ahead because of weather), Utah......depending who might be the better team at the time.

To b
Correct.
Thing is you referenced a Cavs potential situation.

If you recall, Bosh refused to go there in 2010, which played into them all coming to Miami.
To be fair, though, the only place all 3 could go was Miami. If Lebron said he was staying you dont think he could have convinced Bosh to come here? I'm not certain having never spoken to Bosh but strikes me as one who'd follow Lebron.
