Clips were also competing with Ujiri, as the Thunder were also trying to send George (and Russ?) to the Raptors.

Absolutely.

Of the guys left, I would think you guys have the best shot at Morris because he is a Klutch client...unless, Dallas overpays.

After that.....

Bradley, J'Mychal, Boogie...

Manimal too.

Lance Thomas, Ryan Anderson are good vet minimum candidates.

Anyone else?

Trey Burke?

So they can win the lottery in the last year for a while that they could?

Have we met? I'm the prez-o-dent of the Lakers Shit Talk Society. And let me tell you it's gotten very difficult since they got AD. Damn that team & their decades of tradition!

That last draft pick is in 2026. Both PG and Kawhi could be in easy chairs by then.
Your last pick in the Davis trade might be 2025.

LeBron will be cooked.

Clippers mortgaged their future to have a present.

Luckily, they collected enough assets to get the deal done.

Had they not traded for George, Kawhi would be a Laker.

Fuck that...lol

Turns out:

I was posting the 1.7% as proof.
Who the fuck cares where Gilbert was or wasnt?

But....

Cavs only had the 1 pick the year they got Wiggins pick.

That pick had a 1.7% chance.

Gilbert sent Griffith.

And, you are back carrying on like a fool.
Fabulous, but you posted about 2011, when they had 2 picks.

You know what the funniest thing is about all the moves? Watching Kyrie miss the playoffs next year.

I love how nobody mentions Kuz on the Lakers any more.

He’s a fantastic #3 option

Only on offense. Besides AD, do the Lakers have any elite defenders? Don't think we can count LeBron anymore (he's still quite good).

Original discussion was about Cavs getting lucky to be in situation to get James back.

That sure as fuck wasnt 2011.

Keep trying though.

Danny Green is a good perimeter defender and Javale actually led the league in blocks for quite some time last season.

Not elite, but I doubt we see the Lakers at the bottom half of the table in defensive rankings next season.

I became confused mixing up Kyrie and Wiggins years, but end of day ended up being 100% correct.

James became a reality to come back after draft lotto which secured Wiggins for Love.

Cavs had no other selection that year.

Odds of it happening were 1.7%

Problem is if you said they had a very small % to win the Wiggins lottery I'd have agreed. Know how I know? Because I pointed out earlier they got lucky to win that lottery after you mentioned this 2011 seasons.....but didn't matter. Whoever they took that year was going to Minnesota in the Love deal.

So if I have this straight, you are trying to claim some sort of "win" because you were wrong and finally saw you were wrong?

Now the Warriors still have a shot. Don't laugh, if/when Klay comes back healthy and they figure out how to use all 3 guards (or trade DLo for a wing)...they obviously aren't favorites but who is? It's wide open. Maybe the other teams turn to have bad injury luck

Like I said, it'll be hilarious if the Ws get a title without everyone expecting it
Klay comes back healthy soon enough to make sure they get in the playoffs? Certainly wont be a favorite, but who is? I agree they'd have a shot.

To be fair to Broussard, no one saw the PG trade coming. From what I heard that Woj apparently reported, if the Clips were unable to get the PG trade done...Kawhi was going to the Lakers.

Jerry "Obi Wan Kenobi" West must have Jedi mind tricked Presti. lol
No one saw it because that's how most of the big trades go down. They don't get leaked.
