My deepest condolences to the New York Knicks and their misery.

Jazz and Blazers gonna be teams to be reckoned with next year. Feel like both could easily be better than the Rockets next year. Of course this is all up in the air given the Kawhi situation. But those two teams have had a helluva off-season, IMO.

Anyone surprised by this hasn’t been paying attention. In a league where teams are reaching to find guys to give max contracts 3 teams got to know him well enough not to do it. First to make him think he is as special as he thinks was going to get him.

Not sure what team makes the ideal partner,

But flipping D’Lo for 2-3 quality role players makes sense.

They really have no other means to regain lost depth.

Yeah, there are multiple ways the Warriors can go here.

They could opt to trade D'Lo to a contender later in the year. They could draw some great depth pieces and probably some picks as well.

They could trade him to get young, high upside players.

There are some options here. But better than no options.

I have not really thought about it much,

But what about Ball, Ingram + Etwan Moore?

It would not surprise me if we later found out that the Sixers knew Butler wanted to go to Miami when they traded for him. Possibly could have had a S&T already worked out with Miami back then. The key was Brand punting on those 2nd round picks telling Philly fans he needed every cent he could keep. I think they even knew Horford was going to sign here. The margin for error is just too great to risk that blowing up in your face, but yeah, this ain't the Knicks.... :dhd:

So, the Heat won’t add another max next summer?
