They got a top 5 pick. There is nothing more to do. They have two 19 year old with a ton of potential and an AS PF. Until those contracts get off the book in a year, the Cavs are fine. They built up this team a lot faster than most rebuilds take if things workout. Love still has nice value if they decide to trade him in the next year

They won 19 last year.
This year TBD.
Lets hold off on the built up stuff for a bit.

If he is making $19 like I heard he is overpaid, he had a good year. They are all overpaid though lol.
He's an NBA player. Guys not as good as him make more (on longer deals). Because he makes more than a teacher does not make him overpaid.

Yeah they have a ton of potential....to win 20 games.

I actually think they can win close to 30 games if RJ is any good.

Randle is really good, Ellington is a specialist, Dennis Smith will probably keep improving, and they have some quality role players.

Don't forget about their solid rookie class from last year with Knox, Robinson, & Trier.

Knicks starting lineup is probably something like this.

PG- Smith Jr
SG- RJ
SF- Knox
PF- Randle
C-Robinson

Solid bench of Trier, Ellington, & Gibson.

That's not a 20 win team

I would lean Philly over MIL. Philly started off bad and got that great sign-and-trade along with the Horford move. I really love what they did. The Bucks did lose Brogdon, which hurts their depth a bit.
agree....forgot about hORFORD.

Isaiah also picking Utah coming outta the west...

I haven't agreed w/ anything that yammering jackass says since his 1987 remarks about Larry Legend.

"Larry Bird is a very, very good player, exceptional talent. But if he were black, he'd be just another good guy"

Talk about being stunningly full of shit.

Oh..
Some here told us that this was Gilberts toy, and money wasn’t a consideration.

Reality is Cavs making moves to prepare for next years lotto ball drawing.
Reality is while he has an obscene will to win he isn't dumb. No reason to overpay to try and be a 6-9 seed as opposed to 10-13 without a benefit (extra assets)

Yeah but I am factoring in RJ being a bust and Knox just be ok lol

That is a lot of young talent, it's hard to win only 20. 30-52 is still bad but I project about 25 games. If your #1 is Randle you aren't winning a lot of games.
