Warriors Expected To Eventually Trade D'Angelo Russell

Warriors Expected To Eventually Trade D'Angelo Russell

The Golden State Warriors will acquire D'Angelo Russell in a sign-and-trade with the Brooklyn Nets, but he may not be a long-term part of their franchise.

"D'Angelo Russell does not fit there whatsoever," said Marc Stein of the New York Times on the Dan Patrick Show. "They just did not want to see Kevin Durant walk out the door with no compensation. ... They will trade him. It's just a matter of when."

Russell will receive a four-year, $117 million contract from the Warriors.

The Minnesota Timberwolves and Los Angeles Lakers also expressed interest in Russell.

League is totally wide open if Kawhi stays in Toronto or goes LAC. If he goes to LAL it is not wide open at all.

Lakers would be massive favorites and there would be like 3 teams with a shot to win the East next year.
Pretty sure that's about what I said so of course I agree.

Reality is while he has an obscene will to win he isn't dumb. No reason to overpay to try and be a 6-9 seed as opposed to 10-13 without a benefit (extra assets)

Says Cavs fans every year LeBron isnt on the roster.

Yeah but I am factoring in RJ being a bust and Knox just be ok lol

That is a lot of young talent, it's hard to win only 20. 30-52 is still bad but I project about 25 games. If your #1 is Randle you aren't winning a lot of games.

52 wins is bad?

lol kinda wondered where you got to...

so what do you think of your team now? Big Ben working on that jumper...?

He better be.

I think the 76ers are probably the most talented team in the league right now. I guess we’ll see what happens from now until the start of the season.

Knicks starting lineup is probably something like this.

PG- Smith Jr
SG- RJ
SF- Knox
PF- Randle
C-Robinson

Solid bench of Trier, Ellington, & Gibson.

That's not a 20 win team

Portis is the 6th man at $16M a year? I think Portis will play some 5 possibly...I'm guessing that is the plan signing 3 PF's.

Only ones who disagree would be those who failed remedial economics.

Any fan wants his owner to spend whenever their team has a chance to compete....and this one has.

Knicks still may win more than the Cavs....LOL.

From the looks at the roster who knows. If Love can stay healthy I doubt they win more than the Cavs though. A BIG if.
