Kyrie Hater
The dude is uber talented, so he's going to get huge money from someone. But I have to wonder how soon his act will start wearing thin with teams.
My guess is that this is his last mega contract unless he matures a lot.

Just an example but that could entice Kemba to stay and sign the max, even though in reality they still wouldn't contend lol
windy is guessing. It was an example. Read lol.
Lottery pick + bad contract + good, young player with nice contract
That is the only way the Cavs would trade Love but I don't think it is happening and I don't think it is 50-50 like Windy says.
Extreme Guy is back......now you'll argue more while calling me Arguer Guy.
I might do 12th pick, Bridges, Marvin Williams, Batum for Love and JR.......Of course, lottery pick for sure and a couple contracts. One good, young player and another not so good one most likely to match up the contracts.
Like for example:
Monk, Batum and the 12th pick for Love
I might do 12th pick, Bridges, Marvin Williams, Batum for Love and JR.......
That would be interesting both sides---- get Kemba a floor spreader and elite rebounder and some immediate cap relief....get Cleveland the 12th pick and Bridges....just an idea.
prob. not worth it for the Cavs to be honest.
Kawhi could play SG w/ no trouble even though he's never played that position in the NBA or college? Not sure about that one.
And how many games do you expect LeBron to play at the PF spot?
I hear what you're saying, and pretty much agree. but how many teams do you think are gonna shell out top dollars and take that chance with him...?
It's interesting. If Cavs feel like they can be a relevant team in a couple years and don't feel like Love will be part of it then I think they'd make the deal (as they'd have a ton of extra cap space).I might do 12th pick, Bridges, Marvin Williams, Batum for Love and JR.......

There is virtually no difference between the 2 and 3 positions in the NBA.
You design your offense around who you have. Kawhi has a versatile offensive skill set and can guard anybody 1-4 and a lot of 4s too.
Yeah. Kawhi can 100% for sure play the 2.
yah this draft---- draft picks after like 8 just dont really mean that much.I would do a package like that or close to it for a top 8 pick just not sure it is worth it for the Cavs. I mean they get Bridges who is a really, nice young wing who can defend but than with that very valuable JR contract AND Love they only get the 12th and Bridges. I wouldn't do it.
I might do it for say Tyler Johnson and the 6th pick lol. Just another example though.
Really only matters on D. wouldn't have to play the 2 all the time. Could play SF when Lebron rests (10-12 min) and when Lebron goes to the 4 (probably another 10-12 minutes or so).In certain situations no doubt about it. But I'm not sure he could play SG for an entire season.
No doubt about it. Would bet someone who goes 5 or later is a star and better than 1 of the so-called no-brainer top 3.....just need to find the right one.yah this draft---- draft picks after like 8 just dont really mean that much.
I mean- i am sure there will be some very good players taken after 8, but noone is really that impressive

Ya gotta love this forum.

I could see that happening. If Kawhi ends up in those disgusting purple 'n gold uniforms it's be a match up nightmare for most (if not all) teams.
Why not?
What are the demands of the position that you feel he doesn't have?
If you have a bunch of long versatile defenders like Kawhi and LeBron, you just switch screens anyway.
