@WiggyRuss saw one draft trade where the Hornets get J.R. Smith and the Cavs get Marvin Williams and the 12th. Then they take Kevin Porter Jr. with that pick. I hope the Cavs pull off something like this. They could get more than this actually though.

Knicks bringing in Darius Garland Wednesday for a last minute workout. This has caused many to speculate that Barrett to the Knicks might not be a done deal at #3 and the Knicks would actually draft Garland.

But it got me thinking. Might this be indicative that the Pels and Knicks have a trade in place to swap picks? We know the Pels have been trying to move #4. The Knicks recently declined #8 and #10 making you think they are still locked in on Barrett but they might actually think there aren't good enough players later to justify dropping down. But dropping to #4 could be worth it. So maybe the Pels thinking they can't get a vet they want, but instead use #4 and either a player or one of those other many future Lakers pick to move up to take Barrett at 3 and the Knicks will take Garland at 4.

Regardless, I think something is up. It's somewhat unusual to work out a player this late, especially when a team has long rumored to been locked in on a different player.

I think your second paragraph is what’s going on.

I’m hoping Boston takes a swing at Dennis Smith jr. so much talent, needs Brad to reign him in.

Teams like CLE should swing forbhe fences with guys like Bol Bol.

I think Romeo Langford could be a steal. If he shut it down like garland I think he’d be going higher.

Idk how you shoot with a torn ligament in Your shooting thumb.

@Shanemansj13 and knowing hte CAvs...i doubt they take him.

I think they will take a guy who is a hardworker that loves the game foremost. Thats why i doubt its reddish. I think itll be culver or hunter if they stay at 5. i think the garland rumors are a smoke screen to try and get a team to trade up if he is not taken at 4.

I hope it’s Culver but with this talk about N.O. shopping the #4 it could be the Hawks who love Culver

Getting the 12th and using it on Porter makes no sense.

Beilein loves Hunter supposedly and I can see why. Hard worker, plays defense, etc. Lets see if Gilbert likes him as much as he does. I just think either way Culver will be gone unless they get lucky.

I could see culver at 5.

At 12 you gotta take a hr swing.

Guys like hunter are kind of a waste for a rebuilding team like cle.

sounds like teams really want to trade up for Garland though too

i think you are right and the hawks want culver, but teams like the bulls, and suns all want garland...others too...itll be interesting to see

either way- based upon the momentum, if the Cavs stay at 5 it sure seems like Culver or Garland have morphed into the fairly consensus 4 and 5 on the board.

the french kid is a homer run swing. bol bol is a home run swing

i kind of like Nassir Little as a home run swing too....

CAm Johnson is the opposite--- should be a solid stretch 4 - low ceiling but high floor if you catch my drift.

No Hachimura on your big board? He's an interesting prospect to me. Bit of a tweener, but those are a commodity these days. Also think he has lots of room for growth. What I like most is his aggressiveness on offense. He's not scared of contact and he's getting better on the perimeter. Ball skills though could use some work.

I was hoping Boston would buy one. This team needs a few late swings at finding a second round steal

We thought Jordan Bell was a second round steal. Not so much
