Caleb Martin, Taco Fall, Bryan Bowen....

Should get scooped up immediately
Same with Porter, Ponds, Cheatham, King, and others. Kings probably won't consider any of them.

Hope the Warriors offer Jontah Porter a deal. Two way at the very least. Give them some time to look into him and see if there’s any way for a fit to be there.

So far if I had to give the Warriors a draft grade I’d probably say B-. Gotta say Poole wasn’t even on my radar but if there’s one thing about him is that he’s aggressive offensively and won’t shy away from the moment. All the wings the Warriors have drafted just kind of sink in to the team. Poole at the very least will be give. An opportunity and I’m optimistic.

Pashall was a great pick given all the needs of this team. Having a big who can also contribute offensively will be a huge plus. He can be a guy who gets minutes right away.

The Smailagic pick makes complete sense also given he played the year at Santa Cruz and the Warriors know him better than any team in the draft. He’s only 18 with a ton of upside. He’s a developmental player so I figure he’ll spend the whole year in Santa Cruz again.

I think they could have gotten more value at least with their first round pick but that late in the draft it was a crapshoot. I still wanted Carsen Edwards but hopefully this will mean Austin Rivers is on the way. I can’t stand a year of having Quinn Cook as our primary backup.

Draft thoughts:

-New Orleans crushed it. Just give David Griffin the Executive of the Year award for next season already.

-Cleveland did pretty well overall too. I have doubts that Garland and Porter will work with Sexton long term so I won't be surprised if one of them is eventually moved but they picked up a lot of talent tonight (especially shooting).

-This is a pretty weak draft overall imo. Lots of yall are happy with some of the picks your team got and I'm not gonna rain on anyone parade tonight specifically, but my guess is quite a few of those picks you like won't be in the league in 5 years.

-So many fucking trades. That had to have been a record. So hard to keep track of.

-I have no fucking clue what the Suns are doing. Boston looked sorta questionable moving around and getting more and more picks but they did pick up a couple of players I happen to like in Williams and Edwards.

-LOL Wizards https://deadspin.com/the-wizards-still-operating-without-a-gm-drafted-a-gu-1835713136

-Chauncey Billups was fucking terrible. He served no purpose. He offered no insight whatsoever beyond reading the packages that were prepared for him. Bilas and Rece would throw out some jokes and he'd just sit there. They'd have a conversation about a prospect and look to him to offer some perspective and he'd just sit there.

-Winner of the draft overall? Maria Taylor. DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN

Just saw Denver traded for Bol Bol, can someone tell me how he is as a player? I mean I'm not expecting anything from a 2nd round pick but I heard he was supposed to be a lottery selection so maybe he's actually good?

I really like Maria.

Easy on the eyes, well spoken, knowledgeable and actually played the game.

Michelle Beadle better watch her ass.

Not sure about the Poole pick either, but I do like that they added a couple skilled players who seem to have high basketball IQs.

Paschal and Poole both have a chance to earn some quality minutes as a rookie.

My takeaways overall:

Winners:

-Pelicans- added Hayes and Nickeil Alexander to Zion and a bunch of future picks
-Hawks- Hunter, Reddish and Fernando is a really nice trio. They seem to have a very clear plan for the kind of team they are building
-Cavaliers- Not sure about Garland's fit with Sexton, but they hit it out of the park with draft value in all 3 picks
-Minnesota- I like turning Saric +11 into Culver
-Portland- Nassir Little is a great value at a position of need

Losers:

-Phoenix- love the Ty Jerome pick. But sorry. Could have had White or Culver at 6 and instead traded down for Saric and a player who probably would have been there at 24 and might have been available at 32 with a pick they sold for cash.

No other obvious losers for me at this time.

Mostly for any lack of direction.

The opening up of cap space is interesting, though.

Woj said it may be for taking a shot a Vucevic... I don't know about that, personally... but it is probably for some reason.

This team needs to stay young now. Unless it can land a kemba
