Uggg...is it worth watching the Pens without Sid for the next 6 weeks? I mean, it used to be that Malkontent would step up, but he doesn't seem to ever take over a game this year.

I would hope not. Marino is good and looks like he will be good for many years. For that matter, he is even making Jack Johnson look better than an 8th d-man when paired together.

Anyway did you happen to notice the f-up Letang had in OT? In his own end he decided to dump it back to no one, not realizing it was 3 on 3. Luckily the Flames didn't score on that turnover even though they had chances.

Dude was wrecking the AHL... Seen it coming since that deal. Clearly didn't belong in the AHL.

But the question is, can he play a few games without getting hurt?

And so far looks very good. Let’s hope he can stay healthy. With that he fits in very well in a top 9 role here. If/when fully healthy wonder if he can stick over Simon or Galchenyuk.

That high-sticking penalty on Simon last night was pure trash. Reviewed & still upheld. Reminds me of the NFL.

I suspected it was going to be a rough one, but damn no shots in the 1st??? OUCH! Still looked like the better team for the most part. Murray just couldn't save a goal for his life last night.

Pens need to get healthy fast.

Murray is garbage...He won 2 cups because Fleury carried the team and then he just had to fill in...

He gets worse every year...oh, and injured

Gutsy win vs a red hot Vegas team. GO PENS!!!

They proved that when this team is rested, even at less than full strength they can still beat just about any team off the rails. Potent combo of speed & forecheck. GOTTA LOVE IT!

Yeah I have to agree it was a head-scratcher at first, still concerned 3 years from now will it be worth it?
