Seriously he is nothing more than AHL Roster filler getting top 6 NHL minutes. Should never be a full time NHL player and should only be used in the same notion as Agozzino or Noesen should be.

Last night showed exactly how much this team is hurting for offense.
Also there is zero reason Hornqvist should be on a different line than with Crosby/Guentzel at this point.

• SO glad to finally have Rust & Bjugstad return in line with Horny.
• Matt Murray was on fire and in perfect timing. Dallas outshot them badly in the opening 2 periods. Posted his 11th career shutout.

Sad to see Gubranson go...who will "enforce" for the team. He wasn't playing bad...should have moved Johnson, but nobody but our GM was stupid enough to pay that turd or would be willing to take him on

That is the problem. Gudbranson still had value and even then the Penguins were slowly causing what value he had slip away (IE...exposing his inability to move pucks out of his own end).

Well with Hornqvist on LTIR that means we should get an extended look at Kahun on a top 9 and time with Malkin.
He finally started to score just when the rest of the forwards got healthy.

Check this guy out: Yushiroh Hirano.

All he is doing is scoring at the ECHL level. Probably has zero defensive zone capability but when his AHL time comes (1 game last season) it will be interesting to how well he progresses.
