This is assuming that Kahun is healthy... But I agree that its mostly a wash with Sheary. It does weaken the defense, which was already the biggest weakness they have. So that's definitely cause for concern.

Makes me wonder if Kahun wanted more money.

So now with 18+ forwards, and in typical Sully fashion, they'll play different people together every night so they don't get too familiar with each other.

Oh being and RFA with a low salary he would get a big raise. Sheary being unrestricted he can walk and for Rodrigues is a RFA but won't get a bump.

If Sheary can keep his stick on the ice he is a better version of Simon with Crosby.
Nah, they are the same...I'm throwing Rust in there but he's actually a little better...

Oh they are all the same player, but Sheary has proven to put the puck in the net whereas Simon hasn't. It goes into the mold if Dupuis/Kunitz worked lets just fine as close of a clone as possible.

That's insulting to Kunitz and Duper

penguins

The Penguins have signed forward Radim Zohorna to a one-year, two-way contract.

The 6-foot-6, 233-pound Zohorna, who is celebrating his 24th birthday today, has played the last six seasons in the Czech Republic’s top professional league.

Death, taxes, and Sid lighting the lamp...

But can someone explain to me how the Penguins are so bad on the PP with all that firepower?
