Sorry for the Kaep mention. Only brought it up because of how absurd I thought it was for someone to complain about what he did but encourage a violent protest over their own beliefs.

No, but it's like my analogy about someone getting permission from a black person to use the n-word.

Just because one person isn't offended, doesn't mean no one is.

As I mentioned, every time some SJW comes up with another word we're not allowed to use anymore because it's offensive, we're told that 1 person being offended is all that's needed.

So, why wouldn't that extend to what Kaep was doing?

If you're talking about the PF, that place is a cesspool. I don't usually squash political talk here because I don't want people to have to subject themselves to that place.

On the fairly rare occasions that I go in there...it usually means I'm bored, stoned and probably trolling.

The deaths that Kaep and the black community had protest about? Yeah most of them didn't need to result in death. I'm talking about the idiots who may have shot at police, pulled a gun, or etc.

yeah I just have no patience for the extremes on either side of this. Yes there are bad cops and when they mess up they have to be prosecuted. Kaep crossed the line with me with the pig socks. No room for that and nothing good could come from it. Good causes can be forgotten when people act like that.

To be completely fair to Kaep, he was young and he was getting a lot of positive attention for his protest.

I think he started listening to what some of his more extreme supporters were saying and made some mistakes that he likely wouldn't make again if he could take a mulligan.

From what I've seen and heard since all of that died down, the stuff he's been doing seems more low key and like he's actually trying to help folks.

i truly hope he is. Like I said he lost me with some of that stuff and there are a lot that feel he sold out by taking the money too. I don’t necessarily agree with that but then again I think he was motivated by that in the first place.

I certainly do not to offend anyone, my main issue is that he bit the hand that feeds him. The NFL is guilty of letting him do it though. This should have been laid to rest quickly. Ok I’m ready for the nfl draft.
