Oh really? To what players exactly? Core guys? Extended periods?
Yes, really. Have you not been following the NBA?

Kemba Walker - 8 games
Jaylen Brown - 10 games
Gordon Hayward - 17 games
Marcus Smart - 11 games
Enes Kanter - 12 games
Daniel Theis - 6 games
Robert Williams III - 35 games

I guess it's more even than I originally thought... but yeah: the C's have certainly dealt with injuries.

Why not? Because of Marc Gasol?

C'mon, man.

The main criticism of this Celtics team is their perceived lacking at the traditional 5 position.

RWIII was maybe gonna be the guy who maybe could have made a jump... we really don't know if he could have showed development over this season, though, because dude has been hurt.

Just like the Raptors, the Celtics have been a pretty good organization when it comes to player development.

Anyway, if you get to bring up Marc Gasol... ;)

Not kidding and yes.

The obvious difference is one is young and the other is past it.

Again: C'mon, man.

And you say you watch basketball
80% of what Gasol brings you cant measure in stats.

Durant was already a good defender; the offensive help just allowed him to expend more energy on the defensive end with the Warriors. Wiggins has been a net negative player up to this point in his career, and that can't all be placed on his former team. If you're implying maybe he won't be a net negative with the Warriors, sure. If you're implying he's going to become an all-star, pump your brakes.
All I'm saying is he will be better (and his defense will improve for the exact same reason as Durant's did)

All star or no, he should be a valuable 4th best player on a hopefully contending team. 24 yrs old, tons of potential. Exciting times.

Are you really comparing absence of Robert Williams to Gasol?

Still can't believe they didn't fold without Baynes.

He's no Durant. He's been a mediocre player most of his career who never helped his team win
What is it about Wiggins that makes people not able to read? When did I say he was Durant?

I didn't mention stats.

I watch players and I watch the games... Gasol is sliding down that downward slope.

Father Time is undefeated.

And every single team in the NBA would take Gasol over Williams.
I know the Celtics would love him for a playoff run.

Totally untrue... from several different perspectives... money and upside being the most notable.

You're just saying stuff now... bickering without any heft behind your jabs.

Maybe over Kanter. As a back-up dude.

Mostly because anyone... even an agéd Gasol... is better at defense than Kanter.

So you're telling me right now going into the playoffs you would take Williams over Gasol.
