Man, watching Shaq and Jerry West talk about Kobe on TNT tonight is pretty damn powerful.

I'd expect Shaq to be emotional... but West is breaking down hard.

All of it is very genuine and touching.

One thing i noticed as i get older is there's a different kind of love when you grow up with a player. To go from teenager or younger to grown ass man with your favorite player as he goes through his professional career is a special feeling. I know I'll never have that special love and connection for another player like i have for dwade due to this exact reason

Miami need a big who can defend/rebound outside of Bam because Leonard is a really bad basketball player and doesn't use his size at all.

Our last 2 games against Philly have been the same thing... it's tough not to get that sinking feeling that your team is gonna run out of gas in those situations.

I agree. Weird thing is Kelly actually worked his way back into the rotation recently then all of sudden tonight, Spo went with Silva instead of Kelly as the C off bench....but yeah Kelly can do way more things than Leonard. Only thing Leonard is good at is shooting the 3 which he doesn't do much of.

honestly hoping their deaths were swift. terrifying final words would be a cruel way to go imo...

But, you can already see the spin they are trying to put on the accident.

Pilot should have known better...

Pilot should have trusted his instruments, not rely on his expertise...

Pilot was disoriented....

Safest chopper available...

All that equals pilots fault.

For all we know, Kobe could've talked the pilot into flying. So many details that will never be known...

I tried watching some of it until I saw Logo breaking down and Shaq locked down completely. These tributes are so painful.

I've started to avoid all sports news/shows altogether late at night now, as getting emotional gets me all congested and unable to sleep. I get too little sleep as it is...

Let's ask Lebron James, Shaq, T-Mac, Jerry West, Doc Rivers, Jeannie Buss, Larry Nance Jr, Luka, Giannis, Devin Booker and over 100 other players and coaches who were VISIBLY upset the last couple of days how they feel performing in front of thousands of fans after learning their friend, their brother, their idol just died in a horrific accident?

I get wanting to keep talking about if that's what you choose, but you (nor any of us here) are not any of them so kind of irrelevant. So to compare this him losing his spouse was absurd.
