This is irrelevant but ok. I'm sure Lebron legs feel tired on the 3rd game in 4 nights as well. Players are not going to ever complain about it. Once again, that wasn't my point. Your entire post is irrelevant. Players are not going to tell coaches they need fewer minutes. Coaches need to use common sense. You don't throw a 8 man rotation out there when playing for the 3rd time in 4 nights.

You do know Lebron is the main reason there are 2 days of in the finals now when teams need to travel
I get you aren't enamored with hearing what others have to say....you are even arguing with Lebron here. Lebron's comment was made in respect to reg. season.

Players tug at their shorts all the time when they need a blow. That amounts to asking for fewer minutes.

Spo going to run this team into the ground. This team going to be dead by playoffs time.

Had no idea this dude turned into Mike D'Antoni when it comes to rotations.

Another BS 8 man rotation tonight. This is after 5 of those 8 played at least 34 minutes on the 2nd night of a B2B vs Philly on Saturday.

This is incredibly bad coaching

Yeah, you may need to punt a game or two here or there and rest some of your guys. I think this is why 2-way guys are incredibly valuable. You can bring them up and let them get some burn especially with rough patches on the schedule.

I don't disagree, but from what I'm seeing if they punted and lost Spo would get blamed for not playing the players who helped them win all these games.

sometimes guys just have off nights......and, hell, how about credit some of those 2-way guys for playing out of their minds instead of blaming your coach (him, not you).

I obviously didn't see all of the Heat's games recently, so I'd lean with his assessment the guys were gassed. That's something that obviously doesn't show up in the stat sheet.

But yeah, it's always a tough spot for coaches. But at this point with the Heat showing they're capable of playing possibly deep into the playoffs, preservation is important too. But I also get the need to try to be seeded as high as possible. Oladipo will return at some point. Then (as of right now), you'd have the Heat, 76ers, Raptors and Pacers all in that 3-6 slot. The 1-2 teams would have to play the Nets or Magic, which is a huge downgrade in competition at this point. So I see both sides to the coin here. I guess recently bias has just made me want to opt more for the rest than the seeding. Ya'll making those 73-9 jokes has actually really changed the league. No team wants to get after it in the regular season any more because of this.

all fair points....I just see this as "one of those games" we see every now and then in the NBA. Some lesser players got hot and deserve a ton of credit for the W.

Where did I discredit the Wizards? I stated something I mentioned before about Miami. The rotation needs to be extended. A 8 man rotation isn't smart. Said it before and it will keep on saying it

By laying blame on the loss at feet of your coach in a sense you are discrediting the W by Washington.

Did I say they do? OK if I don't use an lol to enhance my question?

Well it's clearly a problem to you because im somehow not giving Washington any credit because i said miami should have played a deeper rotation. Coaches must always coach a perfect game if you have a problem with me pointing out the flaws in spo

ok. I will bite.

the Wizards suck. Perfectly fine to discredit them even if they did play exceptionally well last night.

That 2 way player shot the hell out of the rock. Is he some 3 pt specialist? Did a hrll of a job of drawing fouls as well on the 3 ball. Someone on twitter explained that perfectly, he never lands close to where he attempts his shot.

I really don’t know much about Mathews other than he was a pretty good college scorer at Lipscomb.

I would think that once teams have a better scouting report on him the landing area fouls will be better avoided. I honestly kind of hate that rule. If the shooter goes straight up, he should be entitled to land. But when he lands in the defender’s space, the defender should not get called for a foul. Just not right, IMO.

I'm saying too many fans of good teams think nearly every loss must be on the coach. Not their own players or the opponent.
