If that 2020 1st rounder turns in to the #1 pick in the draft then maybe Minnesota considers it.

But I highly doubt GS gives up the #1 pick for KAT

And it's not exactly like the 2020 draft is stacked with talent.

Agree 100%. I'll take a top 5 pick, DLo and another #1 over a maxed out KAT.

Well then, maybe Minnesota would consider this.

KAT is so skilled and he has the ability to be a good defender. KD was not known as a good defender until he arrived in GS.

One problem that a lot of young stars face is that they expend so much energy offensively that they tend to coast on defense. I don’t think KAT will ever be an all defense team guy, but playing on a team like GS with proven leaders and a lighter offensive load, I think KAT would at least be a solid defender.

A trade like this would put GS right back at or near the top line for title favorites in 2021.

Honestly thought @CitySushi was joking when he posted the original idea. But Minnesota has shown interest in Dlo and nobody in this year’s draft is going to elevate GS’ title chances better than KAT.

DLo is and always was trade bait. I think most people are surprised he's even still on the team.

Plus this year is probably the only year the Warriors' pick will hold any value. When Steph and Klay come back healthy, and future pick isn't even going to make the top 15

He's only 24 years old, theoretically not even in his prime, and is averaging 22ppg, 12rpg for his career playing for the Minnesota Timberwolves... of course he's never won

KAT is on a rookie max. He is making just over 30 million a year on average through 2024.

that is not nearly the same as a guy like CP3 on an actual vet max contract.

I doubt Minnesota trades him unless somebody offers a Kings ransom because they don’t have to. But he is on a great contract that any team would want to have.

Ehh, KAT has more playoff appearances and a winning record in less seasons than Kevin Love did in Minnesota. KAT doesn't need to be THE guy in GS. But he'd be a fantastic #2/#3.

He's got too much money and too much weed now. He's not coming back.

But on a serious note, how many of KAT's teams held him accountable on the defensive end. He wouldn't get away with that here. I'd like Drummond too, but there's no way I'd take him over KAT even given his abilities on defense. Having Draymond as the PF also will boost KAT's defense too.

I mean, sure. But maybe you could get Drummond for less, like only one first round pick.

Never going to win a game going with a stupid 8 man rotation after you played 2 tough games on Friday and Saturday including one that went to OT. You're asking to lose by throwing an 8 man rotation out there.
