I said money wasn't a hindrance to acquiring Love. His salary is still a factor going forward. Basically making an assumption that every player had a 30 million dollar contract they could give up.

There is no way in Hell Kevin Love goes to the Lakers - unless he retires and gets hired as an assistant coach. He is 31 years, and getting 28 million this year and 31 million this year and his numbers are fairly good at 15 pts and 10 rebounds, but He is not worth his salary - The Lakers already have a good time and would be throwing away some good players obtained in good faith for two years or so - That ship for Love to the Lakers is on Jupiter - its so far off

I'm not putting much stock in this game.

It would look totally different with a healthy Lowry and Van Fleet.

Van fleet's ability to spread the floor would have the lane wide open for Siakam.
