And Pittsburgh isn't lol. Pittsburgh has been the dirtiest franchise for decades now.

That being said...wow. Kitchens needs to go, this team is out of control and that is an understatement.
No fan of Kitchens, but if the Steelers are as dirty as you say does that mean they needed to fire Noll, Cowher and Tomlin sooner than they did?

Sorry, but you can't just say both were wrong. Mason was wrong, Garrett was borderline criminal.

The fact is both were wrong in what they did, what Myles did is completely inexcusable. What more needs to be said? It's been said a million times already and he will serve a long suspension.

Of course, players and coaches but do you see stuff like this happen to the Pats or a well-coached team? Very rarely...this team is undisciplined, plain and simple. The problem I have is it looks like the players are running the team, no leadership from Kitchens.
You blaming Harrison and Joey Porter's actions on Tomlin and Cowher?

If you don't want flags, don't commit fouls. Again, comes down to having your team under control.

The fact is the NFL has lost control. The refs don't know how to call games anymore. Rams-Saints last year is a perfect example. So now they change a rule (PI reviewable now) that has made the game worse. The NFL is a circus.

lol and you getting your panties in a bunch

You can't kill someone swinging a helmet as you are getting chased backwards by 3 players...That would be a million to one...In fact he didn't even get a single injury from the hit

When baseball players throw a 100 mph fb at your head, you know what they get? A warning...You are much more likely to die from that, not to mention Rudolph could have broke his neck chasing him backwards with 2 other players...Watch the pay again

In Hockey when they fight they get a timeout

According to the NFL rule book, taking a players helmet off and using it as a weapon is a 15 yard penalty and a 1 game suspension.

Somehow in the NFL people get all emotional when it comes to a fight tho lol
Or when they have an agenda against the team or player.

1. Rudolph starts the whole thing

2. The whole thing gets broken up- and Rudolph decides to CONTINUE it by running at Garrett for no apparent reason
Not a government act, but does seem like what Rudolph did constitutes entrapment in a sense. Garrett does not commit his act if not for the act of Rudolph.

To be fair, most of their losses came due to load management. Doesn't help that Shamet is out. Last night they had no Kawhi, Shamet, or Beverley.

But yeah if they keep this load management trend up, they'll end up as a 4 or 5 seed

On the other hand, if they get to the playoffs with everyone rested and healthy, I doubt they'll care much about their seeding.

Leave it to the Browns to get a big win against a hated rival and have it feel like a loss. :L

Mason wasn't pushing and grabbing. He was trying to rip Myles' helmet off but was unsuccessful. Myles was successful. Then while getting held back Mason charges at him. Not smart. Then of course Myles does the dumbest thing he could done instead of just letting it go.

Both players were wrong, plain and simple. Mason started it. Myles finished it.

How do you know Mason was trying to rip it off?
Players grab face-masks all the time.

Anyway, he’s indefinitely suspended as he should be.

Continue to defend him though if you wish.

well - to give you a very elementary causation analysis

there are two prongs to causation

1. Cause in fact

2. proximate cause

cause in fact is the "but for" test... but for the actions of X would not have happened....etc.

proximate cause is basically a foreseeability analysis.

On another note, Baker continues to call out teammates. Yes, Garrett made a mistake, but you don't call your teammate out publicly like that.

Baker Mayfield on Myles Garrett's helmet swing: It's 'inexcusable'

I disagree. This was something that happened on national tv. Everyone saw it.

I think Baker did the right thing in this case. If this were some practice altercation, then he could go with no comment or "we'll handle within the team" and leave it at that.

But since it happened on national tv and he's considered the teams leader...he had to say something and it couldn't look like he was defending him.

The fact that Baker and Rudolph are apparently close friends may have added to him commenting as well.

and i mean here

what are teh damages?

there are no damages- he was fine. so its kind of irrelevant anyway.

and i think that will be a mitigating factor.

if Rudolph was hit square and was in the hospital with a brain injury- its a lot different than him being fine and basically waiving his arms with a "gotcha" about half a second after the strike happened.

there was no injury.

To see the play and not be certain he was trying to rip off his helmet only shows your agenda. doesn't make Myles right, but no doubt Rudolph tried and failed to take off his helmet.

Exactly what I was getting at...if not for actions of Rudolph Garrett does not go after him.

yah they linked to it from the NFL

3 seems like a LOT for Pouncey.

I am very surprised rudolph was not suspended at leaest 1 game- maybe he still will be.

Not surprised at Garretts suspension at all. The NFL needs to look like they are "taking charge". I wonder what the appeal will look like

My agenda?
I wanted the Browns to win.
Im never defending assault though.
You clowns remind me of the PSU fans defending Paterno.

Its a game.
Learn how to separate it from real life.
