if the guy tried to twist his head off and kicked him in the balls before hand i might have some empathy.

Sure.
We know you’re a blind homer.
Just didn’t know you’d go as far as condoning assault in the real world.
Player involved and everyone on both teams agree it crossed every boundary, but you like it.

I guess you can't comprehend how self defense works

Ruldolph was running at him at full speed with 2 other line players, what do you think he was coming to do? Give him a big wet kiss?

I am not condoning assault in the slightest

as I have said multiple times- Garrett was an idiot for what he did and should be held accountable

but none of it happens without Rudolph- TWICE starting things-- once by kicking him in the nuts and twisting his head, and then ANOTHER time by re-engaging after it was broken up.

Rudolph was an idiot

he starts the whole thing by kicking garrett in the balls and trying to twist his head off

and then its broken up

and then AGAIN he re-engages

so its hard to feel sympathy for him

And Tristan came out to prove everything we've said as far as he vs Bam is correct.
It's a joke.
I know it's half of one game, but just watching the two on the court together you can easily see the talent difference,
If you "know it's half of one game" why are you insinuating it "proved everything you said"?

Are you also thinking now Van Vleet is far better than Lillard?

But now that you've seen their "talent difference" can you explain how in the hundreds of other games they've played the only area Bam seems to have a clear edge is passing?

IMG comment of the year?

"Don't make it seem like another guy was a coward and it was bush league, you were in the fight. Whether it was wrong or right, you were in the fight,” McGinest, the former Patriots outside linebacker, said. “You started the fight by trying to pull off this man's helmet. Now, he finished it, and it wasn't the right way, but you still charged into the pile. When [Steelers guard David] DeCastro got in between you and Myles Garrett, you could have walked away and threw your hands up, not after you got hit with the helmet.

“So don't make it seem like it was all Myles Garrett, he did everything, he incited this whole situation. It was guilty parties on both teams. It's all inexcusable, but I don't like the way the picture is being painted like this is all created by one particular person. I'm not making excuses, but we do have to be honest about what we saw."

Carr, who played quarterback for a few teams and most notably the Houston Texans, backed McGinest.

"I completely agree,” Carr said on NFLN. “Obviously it escalated when Mason charged back into a situation where, there were two offensive linemen there holding Myles Garrett back. When Mason came in, that just escalated it and you got the helmet swing, which obviously no one is condoning, but that's kind of what happened.”

This is really not debatable.

My guess is he gets a 6 game suspension, appeals, and it gets reduced to 3-4 games.

Agree with Baker....sucks this is what will be discussed the next 10 days and not the game

totally agree

i am hoping that what you said happens --- 6 game suspension reduced to 4 because of the circumstances

thats what i HOPE for but it could easily be the rest of the year.

anything from 2 into next season wouldn't shock me. Haynesworth got 8 games when he stepped on the player (with cleats). I think that one was unprovoked (or not nearly as much as Rudolph) and caused major injury....though Garrett's could have.

Assuming this was Browns' related?

sorry, usually don't post during Browns' games. Realize you posted well before the incident, but sucks that is all that will be discussed for 10 days now.

Also sucks we couldn't have pulled it out Denver. Things would really have been interesting.

McGinest and James Jones agreed that Mason started the whole thing. So does this happen if he doesn't do that? Probably not. Not sure why Mason was rushing Myles without a helmet, that just isn't smart.
Ohh well, the shit happened unfortunately and Myles will probably get anywhere from 4-8 games, my guess.
Larry - 1-2 games
Mason - 1-2 games
Pouncey - 1-3 games

Lets move on. Sad we even are discussing this though. It really sucks watching your team win (not impressively) then this shit happening. Embarrassing.

That is top 3 worst pro sports plays I have ever seen. That is way over the line:

Right there with the Malice in the Palace and the Rudy T. Sucker punch.

That shit is so far over the line I don’t think suspension is enough. Garrett literally could have killed him.
Holy over the top, Batman. But expected from you.

Yes, I guess he could have killed him but very unlikely. There are plenty of plays in a game where a if hit the right way "could be killed".

Handful of guys really going at it compares to a brawl that spills into a crowd of fans?

Anyone remember when antonio Brown kicked our punter (Lanning) in the face? Pretty dangerous act with cleats, right? He "could have knocked his eye out".

The reaction then? The Browns were ripped for being wusses.

Last part is the worst part and Baker referenced it, too.....sucks this will now be the narrative and we don't play for 9 more days.
