To @WiggyRuss and @Shanemansj13 .......Has to be something to this 11 and 12 personnel, and can't for the life of me figure out why Freddie runs far more plays out of 11 where Baker struggles. This week was OK in 11 with an 85 QBR. 110 QBR out of 12. 38-6 passes out of 11.

Most of success last year out of 12.

So we're just going to ignore that Zion who would likely be a top 3 player on the team is out? Cool
Did Griff do something in order for Zion to fall in their laps?

You don't remember when some said how great the Alexander-Walker pick was? Guy is shooting under 25%. Still early, I realize.

If you'd like to be the first to say what move was made here that was because he was the GM that made him a must keep, please feel free.

Lebron - nope. Because he was from NE Ohio and owner committed to spend
Love - nope. Assets used to deal for him were not acquired by him and what was he gonna do, tell Lebron he wouldn't go after them because Bennett had to be included in the deal
Kyrie - acquired by Grant and Gilbert agreeing to pay Baron Davis

Solid deals for Moz, JR and Shump....but 2 of the 3 also guys Cavs get ripped for overpaying. Signed by Griff.

Korver trade was a nice deal, as was Frye, I guess.

My comment had nothing to do with Griff. It more about the 2 comments made about the struggles the pelicans are having. They're without Zion so i think it was obvious to most that they'll struggle. Heck with Zion, at best people thought they would barely be .500

Griff being overrated as you may think has very little to do with their struggles so far

I do have to admit that Ingram has been playing really good ball.

Ingram:

31.7 minutes a game- which is substantial but not like a "ton" of minutes

25.9 pts, 7.1 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.0 blocks

55.2% from the field, 48.6% from 3 shooting 5 three's a game.

Gotta say- I did not see that coming.

You really don't know that he would be a top three player though. You just think he would like most people think he would. Players over the years, however still have to prove themselves.

That was the Griff factor. Very overrated GM. Good? Sure, but hardly a keep at all cost GM.
I heard a few people that thought and said New Orleans would be better then the Lakers who got raped in that deal. I am not totally convinced that Zion would have had a huge impact. I haven't seen too many rookies make a huge difference in the first year, but I do wish Zion the best and I wish the best for New Orleans.

lol

i dunno...he is no Patrick McCaw..

Paschall just scored 25 and 34 in back to back nights. McCaw would have been lucky to score 59 points in a month.
