Larry Brown. Best coach ever.

Brown couldn’t stay anywhere long term and only won 1 title.

But he was very good at helping teams produce at greater than the sum of their parts. Not the best choice to get a team over the top though.

And he won the NCAA tournament. And he took the Sixers to the finals with Iverson and a bunch of crap teammates. And his title team had no HOFers. And he won wherever he coached.

The guy who coaches my 4 year old son's soccer team lets the kids chase him around until one of the kids touches him and then he falls over and plays dead while all the kids pile on top of him.

Yeah, he's been kinda everywhere. Coaching at Kansas when I first started watching sports, then I remember him coaching for the Clippers, Spurs, Sixers and Pistons, and then even in Europe, I think.

Looked it up. I had no idea that Larry Brown also coached UCLA and coached in the ABA. He really has been everywhere and coached at every league and level throughout the world. Wow.
