I just truly truly hope the majority of nba players are not so fucking dumb so as to "unite" at this time and tell us how oppressed they feel to go into a bubble and thus be able to use millions of eyes on a tv to spread a message of battling systemic racism because they can't go to the local strip joint and get a lap dance.

Please please sweet baby jesus do not let the majority of the nba be as stupid as kyrie irving.

Finally, you see the light.

You kept getting caught up in the Orlando bubble and that wasn't even what we were talking about.

These guys position is full on tard.

The Players Union is a complete shitshow for allowing this to happen.
see the light? I've said this since anyone said anything about waiting because of the protests, so there's that.

But, yeah, some players are a joke.

I mean I agree with your premise but it's public service for a reason I suppose.

I definitely wouldn't be doing it for a pay raise lol
Yeah, I was just reiterating what @trojanfan12 said.

Way to many times being a cop is the backup plan and their heart isn't in it.

One thing I try to teach my kids is to do what you Love.

Never take a job just for the money.

I did and I was Fucking miserable.

I'm there now Mecca.

I remember a time I did my job and had a passion for it...and now it's just dollars on a check.

So yes..if society needed cops and I have to assume would have to waive the age limitations I'd sign up.

It's bothering me that much. I don't know why. I've had a lot of bad experiences with cops myself. But we have to have them.

Yeah, they'd seriously have to waive them for me too, but I'd sign up in a heartbeat.

I consider myself fortunate. As I've shared, my Dad was a cop. I've had a couple of bad experiences with cops, but I knew how to get through it without escalating anything because of that.

Heck, my Dad was a cop and had a bad experience with a cop.

We were driving out to Phoenix to visit family and he gets pulled over by a CHP officer. My Dad shows him his badge and i.d. and the CHP tickets him anyway.

So, a few weeks later my Dad had to drive all the way to Blythe, Ca. in the summer (it's surface of the sun level hot there in the summer).

The judge dismissed the ticket, which the CHP officer knew would happen. He just wanted to make my Dad drive all the way out there in the heat of the summer.

He was so pissed, we weren't even allowed to watch ChiPs in our house after that. lol

When I joined the Sheriff's department, I had a 45 and a 49 year old female in my graduation class.

If you feel passionate, you are the type of people we need.

I am black and have had numerous negative experiences with Cops.

But, I've also worked with hundreds, maybe thousands, who did their jobs with honor.

We absolutely need police.

Anyone saying otherwise is misguided, at best.

Crazy ass fuck, at worst.

CHP will give a ticket to their MAMA.

I got pulled over in Uniform for riding in the Carpool lane with one other person, who was a Deputy Sheriff.

He wanted to have my car towed....lol

I had to call the LT at Walnut Station to come out and diffuse the situation.

They are so Fucking bitter.

It's not my fault you live in Long Beach and they have your ass working in Barstow for 30k a year...lol

Dude, I love in AZ.

I drive thru all the time.

I am very familiar with Willy Wells Rest area.

But, I much prefer to stop in Indio.

I actually almost took a job at the Prison in Blythe.

I was looking at a house in San Jacinto and one in Hemet.

Ended up buying in Victorville and stayed with LA County.

You should see the rib eyes I picked up at Sprouts. Just under 1.5 lbs. each.

Used to hate that drive when I was a kid. The only thing I liked about it was that there used to be a Stuckey's that we would stop at on the way there and back.

Haven't been through there in years. Is it still a Denny's and not much else?

No, it's built up a bit more.

There was this bus service called Gotobus that used to do overnight and turnaround trips to SF, SD, Vegas, Sonoma, Phoenix etc....

Really nice, luxury busses with multiple bathrooms...lol

We always stopped in Blythe for a hour on the way to Arizona.

They had a really good sit down Mexican Restaurant, McDonald's, Subway.

It's not just a tumbleweed, piss on the side of the road stop.
