Or, they can opt out.

Look, I am totally pessimistic about all this. But, this is a business.

If the employees are willing, the organisers are taking precautions, Fuck it....roll the dice.

It's kinda like reopening the economy. Do it on a small scale, test the waters, reassess if necessary.

You won't know until you try....

Speaking of which, Arizona might end up being the test case of WHAT NOT TO DO.

Everything is open.

Bars, Movies, Casinos, Gyms...

Our numbers are rising, infections and deaths because it takes 10-12 Fucking days to get test results back.

I was supposed to go back to work next week and I can't because testing is so backed up.

Numbers are rising quickly in Florida (1000 new cases per day). July 31st is still far off, and it's still just a plan.

The slow reopening has been largely a success in NY thus far. State-wide deaths as of yesterday were at their lowest point in 3 months.

According to the CDC both masks and social distancing are required.

Makes no sense. If you aren't near anybody, what is the mask for? This isn't an environmental threat. The story keeps changing on the masks; before it was to protect others from you, now it's supposedly for both sides.

That's awesome.

Slow is the way to go.

Arizona shit the bed by just opening the floor gates and I pray we don't suffer because of it.

I agree it makes no sense but the CDC is supposed to be believed.

Unfortunately, it's probably just a different timing of that suffering. NY stayed locked down for a long time and still experienced a lot of death because a lot of spread happened before the shut down. It's not like the time has weakened the virus. A retirement state like Arizona could really see a spike if it gets into the retirement communities.

I was just expressing an opinion but you consider it baiting. Did I accuse you of baiting? If you don't like my comments then just put me on ignore. Problem solved.

If you consider 100,000 deaths in a few months underwhelming, that's scary (and difficult to believe).

People in Arizona let the low infection/death rate at the beginning of this fool them.

Numbers were low because getting tested was virtually impossible.

Arizona is such a transient state. I think the College closures saved a lot of pain for the geriatric community.

When the kiddie corps went home, they took a bunch of asymptomatic positives with them.

Mostly elderly folks with pre-existing conditions. Nursing homes have been the hardest hit.

That's great news.

It's the opposite here.

But, that's what happens when you don't close.

The state recorded 7,023 new cases from June 1-7, nearly doubling the 3,559 new infections reported from May 25-31. The state's highest daily case count to date was recorded on Friday, June 5, with 1,600 new infections.

As of Saturday morning, Banner Health, the state's largest health system, reached its capacity for patients requiring ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation), Banner Health reported to the Arizona Surge Line, a statewide phone line that hospitals contact when they're unable to provide the required care for a COVID-19 patient.

The Coronavirus pandemic has been overblown by the media.

Damn right! Not only is everything overblown all the people hospitalized were forced there by those tricky damn democrats. The death total is nothing more than an outright lie too.

Like KellyAnne Conway said back in April- "This is COVID-19, not COVID-1" and "you would think the people charged with the World Health Organization facts and figures would be on top of that"

With all the protests in Denver I'm expecting a jump in cases in the next few weeks.
