Coming out now that only about 20 percent of the people involved are from MN. This is paid domestic terrorism, nothing more. I feel sorry for the good people of MN that are losing their businesses and jobs because of this.

You think they're from Chicago?

Why Chicago?

Close enough to Minnesota and they get down like that so wouldn't be surprised. Wisconsin and Iowa are much closer but I don't know if they get down like that in those places

That is what happened in Charlottesville VA with that Unite the Right rally a couple years ago. People on the outside assumed there were a ton of racists living in the area, but almost all people involved on both sides were from out of state.

Far different situation obviously, but it is crazy to me that people will travel hundreds of miles just to cause trouble.

I got no clue, but someone is funding this.

Stop with this nonsense. There's no shadow cabal leader out there cutting checks for people to load up and go riot. Think of how the world works. If that were really true, some dumbass would have posted a payment by now bragging about their cash. Seriously, don't be this fucking stupid.

What IS happening is the same thing happens in most every riot of substantial size; there are fringe groups of the far left and the far right that will travel in to stir shit up. They aren't paid. They aren't part of some larger global conspiracy. They're just a bunch of douches that sit on message boards (not cool NBA boards of course), facebook groups, 4chan, etc 99.9% of the time and when something pops off, they load up.

The 1 arrest was obvious. There are likely more coming, but since those officers didn't have their knees on his neck, it'll ultimately be up to the DA if their negligence rises to the level of an actual crime.

At the least, the one who actually had his knee on Mr. Floyd's neck is likely going to jail for a long time and none of the 4 will ever work in law enforcement again. I doubt they could get jobs working security at a Wal-Mart.

As for rioting, we'll have to disagree on that one. Going and attacking police departments and officers that had nothing to do with it will only make matter worse.

In some cases yes there needs to be violent destructive anger. But not this one. They did the right thing right away. That cop is going to jail, and his colleagues are unemployed and unemployable now. Even his wife divorced him.

You shouldn't be so sure. There's been video of enough incidents where you'd say an officer would surely be found guilty and they weren't. And police unions are notorious for getting bad cops their jobs back or rehired in other precincts

And its that shit is why people are upset. Because this shit happens and then nothing happens. It just goes back to what it was. This isn't solely about George Floyd. You can't look at this incident in isolation. George Floyd is just the latest and because his murder was captured so clearly on video, the dam burst. It's clear to anyone that watches that cop murdered Floyd and every one around him was complicit. And then the same pattern started as it has when police crossed the line but nothing would happen to them; police closed ranks, delay in any kind of charges (but if it were a civilian, they would have been arrested and charged on the spot). So people said enough of this bullshit and started to protest. The first protest was earlier this week and was peaceful yet the police escalated the situation by firing tear gas, rubber bullets, and flash bangs into a peaceful crowd. Then the riots started the following night.

Twitter and Instagram is where its at for the best footage. There you'll see the real shit like people cleaning up or protesting peacefully, clear agitators not protesting but just fucking shit up, cops blatantly abusing people by firing into peaceful crowds, cops firing on the media even after they've identified as media, cops drive by pepper spraying peaceful crowds, cops attacking people for simply filming, cops attacking people on their own porches, cops shoving down old people and girls half their size

The video of the cop throwing that woman to the ground just another example. Couldn’t see what led up to it, but looked almost like a random act of violence as he was passing by.

While I am deeply saddened by the death of George Lloyd, this rioting is an absolute travesty.

Look, the asshole who killed him is fucked. A white cop going to prison for killing a black guy, while on duty? The guy is going to get shanked before lunchtime on his first day. And none of us are going to lose a seconds sleep over it.

But rioting? Looting? Come on. That's not the answer.

Only part I disagree with is him getting shived on the first day. They're going to make his life absolutely miserable.

He doesn’t have to die immediately. A nice lasting scar will do.

Then wait for him to heal, and repeat.
