You are not kidding. That place is a shot hole. I remember being stationed out that way in the early 90s, Seattle was a great place to visit and live. Tacoma was the shi t hole. How times have changed. Let's go Flyers!

This feels like a really important regular season game. Great period. Jake probably should've scored about 3 minutes in. I'm sure Carter Hart would want the lone goal against back, but I'll attribute it to rust. Couturier gets a fortunate bounce on his shot to tie it, but give him credit for being in a prime scoring area and even getting that shot off. Love to see the pressure by Konecny and horrific pass by Malkin late that Hayes intercepts and deposits into the empty cage. Before that play, we had gotten a little careless with the puck late in the period.

Yeah, I give zero shits that this game was an exhibition. It feels pretty amazing to see hockey again and to get a 3-2 OT win against our biggest rival via a pretty unlikely breakaway finish by Laughton. Our centers are locked, loaded and ready to go, that much is for certain. Hayes could've had a hat trick in this one, easily, and Couturier looks very sharp all over the ice.

Just finished watching. Third period was a real snooze, BUT am really excited to watch this team get into the real play.

Loved that Konecny was slamming bodies like it was mid-season. Hayes just Owns the ice. Thought ghost had a solid game.

ALWAYS great to chalk up a win against the Pens.

I'm glad that our next game isn't game one of a series. I think that is a huge advantage. We essentially have a Bye for the qualifying round, but also some potential measuring stick games against the top 3 in the conference. It will be interesting to see what the strategy is for those games moving forward. We truly have nothing to lose because our seeding can't get worse, it can only improve.

Nice to see the PK dominate and PP wasn't horrible either. Special teams will be important and they looked midseason.

I think the layoff helped Ghost gets a restart.

Nothing better than beating the Pens! Don't care one bit that it's an exhibition, I'd be excited the next day if the Flyers beat the Pens in a rock, paper, scissors tournament!

Laughton's goal was slick, but that pass by Konecny was even better I think. What a great way to end it.

Thought Elliot looked particularly locked in. Hayes was a monster, and has been in the team scrimmages as well. Provorov and Niskanen looked great too. Couturier too. For las, JvR was indeed invisible aside from the one break where he just kinda flubbed the puck wide of the net.

I am so excited about this team. Watched some of the Montreal/Toronto game later and just had to laugh at the Habs having Weal and Weise in the lineup. And Weise missed a full on tap-in just to drive it home. It is so nice having enough talented hockey players to fill the lineup without including someone that is just flat out not good enough to be in the NHL.
