How fucking silly is it that we don't own the tiebreaker over Washington after having outscored them 16-7 in the season series, beaten them 3 out of 4 times and collected 7 out of a possible 8 points?

That and 9 straight wins overall, 8 of them in regulation.
I thought about bringing this very thing up. It makes no sense. The Flyers win the series vs the Caps with identical records, but the stupid the goes by OT wins/ losses? How fucking idiotic is that.

The recent goal by Farabee exhibits some of the silver lining we get from JvR breaking his hand.

JvR is by far a better scorer, but would he have hustled and forechecked enough to get that one?

I think not.

I agree with this....

Like others have said... it's great to have the depth and the options of bringing in Farabee cuz Teapot broke his pinky

The Capitals erase an 0-2 deficit to the Sabres that we just beat, but still go down 2-3 in a lengthy shootout due to a goal by ex-Pen Dominik Kahun.

So, we are one point back with a game in hand for the division lead.

Wells Fargo Center should be rocking tonight !!!!! If the Flyers get off to a good start that place should be sheer bedlam.

The Captain is going to build on his goal production with a one timer within the first 8 minutes.....

I'm going with Coots to get this thing rolling tonight. I'm also going with Hart to be the star in this game. This kid is going to be on his A game tonight to deal the win.

Sorry I missed the fun over the last few days as I just got back from Texas. Las still doesn't like JVR and there seems to be a divide about getting Ghost back into the lineup. That being said, I will go with Nisky tonight. It will be fun to watch the Couts line v. the Bergeron line. We catch a small break with Krug and Carlo out.A win tonight and we take solo of first!

I just saw Ghost in for Myers tonight. The article did not say why.

Also going to be keeping an eye on Hayes... I thought he was a bit off vs. Sabres. Maybe tired legs, maybe something else. He was a monster on face offs.... but IDK... it worried me.

Myers out at least 4 weeks with fractured knee cap. All you wanting to force Ghost in the lineup get your wish as an injury hit as i said should be the case to get him so time. Hopefully his freelancing doesn’t rock the boat as this has been a very disciplined team in recent weeks.

Well that sucks. Nothing was getting by Rask. Just one of those games where we played a hot goaltender. Now onto TB. With or without Stamkos, it's going to be a tough to get a win in their building.

Yep no breaks even though they carried most of the play. Can't win them all I guess but they are 2-1 against the 's. Would make for a great series. Let's blame Ghost for getting Myers hurt and not scoring a hat trick in his return ha!
