Yeah, I was pretty excited for a bit. Especially when they got to withing field goal range after the Rams had taken the lead. But, the o-line remembered they suck and decided to get false start and holding penalties.

As an added bonus, the holding penalty wiped out an 18 yard completion. :L

Seachicken fans in LA....(shakes head)

Ffs....

Enough already.

Let go...

Chris Bosh will make a final determination on his career by the All-Star break, and he’s open to playing for any team willing to take the gamble – including the Knicks. Visiting MSG on Monday for the Knicks’ preseason game against the Wizards, Bosh told the Daily News he remains focused on a comeback from the blood clots that forced him to retire prematurely.

Seriously. Nobody wants to see him drop on the court.

Weird timing on the Suns firing their GM. Stuff like that usually happens after the season not a week before the season starts.

Well, it's an easy time to transition to a new GM, as there isn't a lot of activity right now. Trades are a ways off for the most part, scouting doesn't start until the college games get going, etc. Final cuts from preseason are usually pretty cut and dry. The one issue would be potentially chasing someone who gets cut unexpectedly.

Missing work to attend "my arraignment" for a traffic violation. Patience isn't my strength so I need all the help I can get.

Grew up a Rams fan from the time I was 8 years old. But the way that snake eating bitch set up moving the team just left too bad a taste in my mouth.

The Seahawks had already become my 2nd favorite team because I loved the Jim Zorn/Steve Largent teams and they hired Chuck Knox (my all time favorite Rams coach).

So it made for an easy switch when the Rams left.

Yeah, the move didn't affect me, since I'm in NY anyway. Now the endless terrible coaching hires after Vermeil, that's another matter.

Yeah, I used to love going to Rams games, watching their games on TV, had all kinds of Rams gear, etc. As a kid, playing Jr. All-American football, I couldn't wait to be old enough to play in the Pee Wee Division because that team was called the Rams.

But watching her refuse to spend the money to add the one or 2 more players they needed to possibly make the Super Bowl and then brazenly tank the team so that she could blame the fans by claiming "lack of support/attendance" was too much.

Yeah, they had some pretty bad hires. But they have a great coach now.

Agree 100%.

I can't imagine what it would feel like to loose the thing that you THINK defines you as a person.

But, Shit...

Go into Coaching...

Build a sports academy...

Become a agent...

Get a AAU team....

All those things would allow him to stay connected to the NBA, without losing his life.

Yeah always a tough thing for players to have to retire, but it's even worse when you're forced to do it. I mean I can't really imagine what it's like for these guys. Ball really is life for them. That's been their identity for more than half their life. It's hard to find sympathy for a guy in his position with his hundreds of millions of dollars in the bank, but I do feel for him a bit. If you were living your dream job and someone just told you tomorrow you could no longer work in that field, but would have to do something else completely, anyone would be crushed.
