The match ups for 6, 7 & 8 seeds in the WC are usually pretty tough. If this season is anything like the last few seasons they could draw either GS, Hou or SA, OKC, Utah. I'm not liking their chances against those teams in a 7 game series.
Sure I agree with GS & Houston.....the rest of the field?

Did you see James vs Indy, Toronto, and Boston?

Two reasons I say he shouldn't do it:

1. Everyone knows the only reason established players go play in China is because they can no longer play in the NBA - so a player of Wade's caliber doing so would certainly be perceived as him being washed up.

2. He'd have to live in China. lol
I believe Marbury had his own shoe over there and it was a big hit.....maybe I'm wrong.

Wade could do the same and make a shit ton since he'd be a bigger star.....

I wouldn't.

No way would I leave 3 school age boys, at least one High school, and my wife to chase 8 mil when I have 100 mil in the bank.

He can probably get the 5 mil exception from the Heat.

He has a lifetime shoe contract.

*er, um, various sounds of hesitation*

I didn't know the ages of his kids.

Thanks, TMZ Mecca!!!

I think the matchups would help out for Lebron against SA and Utah given that they don't have much wing depth that would be able to defend Lebron (Gobert is a good paint defender); you could make the same argument against Houston, but for them its LA having the firepower to keep up with Houston.

Yes, as a matter of fact I did. I saw him go 7 games with better shooters on his team against Indy AND Bos. If they can see at least 5th or better then they have a shot to play a lesser team & advance from the first round. But, if they have to play any of the top 3 seeds, nope. They're a first round out.

Hmmm, I don't know. SA now has 2 legit offensive guys - and if they can get good production from their PGs they will be tough to beat. Utah already has a legit offense & LBJ can't play defense regularly so eventually Utah will wear them down - similar to what we saw them do to OKC last year.

Oh I have no doubt he would be a star over there - but that has nothing to do with either of the reasons I listed as why I think he shouldn't do it.

We obviously think different than most - because I don't think he should do it either.

I think they shld want a top 4-5 seed, especially if they can get homecourt but GS and Houston are the only 2 teams I can see beating them for sure.

And I've been fairly conservative this FA period.....LOL.

Then we are saying the same thing. I've already said if they can seed at 5 or better I give them a good chance at making it to the 2nd round.

Yeah.

SA's defense is going to take a hit.....

Yeah.

SA's defense is going to take a hit.....

Because they lost Green??

Maybe a little.

But, the Spurs might not decline at all.

They were without Leonard all year and still won 50.

Demar is a upgrade, offensively, over Danny.
