All depends on what Magic and Rob do over the next few weeks. Nobody thinks this is going to be the final roster.

They're still looking for a starting crnter. Rumors are they're aiming for Capella or resigning Lopez.

Then there's still the Kawhi/Lillard rumors floating about.

So we'll see. But right now AS IS, this is a 50+ win team

No one way they are signing Capella. They aren't signing Lopez either unless they can dump Deng. And as it stands there are only 3 teams that could take on Deng's contract.

Sure, if they get Kawhi that changes things. The Lillard stuff doesn't make sense unless the Blazers want Ball.

I'm not sure you're the best judge of talent considering you think Melo was OKC's 3rd best player last season.

So you're actually saying the Cavs without LeBron were better than the Lakers last year?

Damn that must be some strong crack

And, more importantly, a roster that had guys that understood their role in a Lebron offense.

Maybe super human Lebron carries the team to 50 wins on his back like he did with the Cavs, where lead the league in minutes played, but I doubt that is what Luke Walton, Magic Johnson, or Lebron James are envisioning.

Yeah, if he can put together another season like he did last year, he truly is superhuman. It's an interesting roster for sure, they surrounded Lebron with 4 misfits(KCP, Rondo, Lance and McGee) and 4 younger guys(Ingram, Kuzma, Ball and Hart)

Nope which is why I won't be surprised if the Lakers are as high as the 3rd seed or as low as the 7 seed at the end of the season

Agree. A lot will be determined by how well everyone fits and how quickly. How the kids respond to the pressure that will be put on them this year.

And perhaps most important...how many games Lebron plays. I seriously doubt that he plays all 82 again.

I'd say 47-52. I think it's unrealistic to think Lebron will play like he did in the playoffs. Cavs only won 50 last year, with a roster that's probably slightly better than what the Lakers will have next year.

Cavs roster last year wasn't better than what the Lakers will have this year. But the Lakers play in the West. So they could easily have a better team, but a record that is the same or slightly worse.

The difference between the two is not significant.

The Lakers would have won 40-42 games if Ball and Ingram hadn't missed like 53 games.

Add James and the other FA's they can win 50-53 games.

They're not winning 53 games in the West with Lebron and basically a bunch of role players

Lakers fans are setting up for disappointment if they're expecting low to mid 50 wins from this team with the roster as it is

Fultz should be playing....

He's still doing shooting camp with Drew Hanlen and he's not supposed to do ANY shooting outside of the camp until he's finished. Unfortunately that means he is going to miss Summer League. But honestly I MUCH prefer he focuses on shooting then get pointless minutes working on other aspects.

Haters are going to be even more upset

Ahh there's the word I'm looking for.

Lakers fans are back to calling others "haters" if they don't think the Lakers will be the greatest thing ever.

Bring me back to the CBS days.
