Lol, you could combine the best players of both OKC and the Spurs and you still wouldn't beat the Warriors or Rockets, or heck even the Lakers.

OKC is better than the Lakers.

You do realise the Lakers beat OKC last year twice? Without Lonzo.

Plus the Lakers just added the best player in the game and the Thunder are about to lose one of their top 3.

So no, they're not.

To be fair Melo makes the team better by leaving. And the Lakers beat the Ws last year, so I guess they are better?

No they didn't. Took them to OT twice but never beat them.

What that meant is they match well with GS type of play but can't compete with them.

Melo going from OKC to LA pretty much guarntees that the Thunder are better. :D

Melo wasn't one of their top 3 players last year. He wasn't even one of their top 5 players last year. In fact he was net negative player for them.

The Lakers will be better but they are going to need a LOT of adjustment time before they even find a system that will work. IMO, their ceiling is about 50 games but 45 is more likely. Unless they get Kawhi.

The Trail Blazers were a 48 win team despite going through their own growing pains last year. I would say they are the 4th best team in the West.

I agree with this.

With the roster as is, I think this is a 47-35 type team.

As for the Melo comment, I said it before. OKC getting rid of Melo and Roberson back makes them a better team

What? You're saying the guy with the 4th worst VORP in basketball wasn't one of the Thunder's best players?

Roberson has value for the team if utilized properly.

If everyone stays healthy. I can see the Warriors, Rockets, Blazers, T-Wolves and OKC finish with a better record, also assuming there isn't anymore major roster moves.

Twolves are one bad bottle of tequila away from a straight up dumpster fire.

Warriors and Rockets are a class of their own. Jazz could create some real trouble for both of them next year especially if Mitchell continues to develop.

Blazers are an enigma. So are the Nuggest.

Pelicans could surprise especially if they can figure out a way to get Randle to fit into their team.

T-Wolves I'm assuming right the ship. Obviously that might not happen, but with Butler playing they did have the 3rd best record in the WC. Honestly, it's probably going to be a lot like last year, meaning not much separation between teams 3-9.

Throw Utah as a possible team to finish with a better record as well

They're definitely in the mix as well. Probably not much separation between 3-9.

Nope which is why I won't be surprised if the Lakers are as high as the 3rd seed or as low as the 7 seed at the end of the season
