Yea I thought it might be a little too offense heavy with 2 rbs and 3 wrs but I figure with a rookie qb just load up on weapons

You don't need any receivers with Jackson. He is going to run for 200 yards. :fencing:

Let me fix that for you
lamar-jackson-jump.jpg
RGIII 6-2/218
Lamar Jackson 6-3/211

I doubt the Skins have another skinny running QB on their draft board.

That seems like a bad way to determine wether or not jackson is a good pick.

Actually it is not. Their were questions about whether Griffin was a little slender to be a QB in the NFL. That can't be proven as the reason he was injured so often but there was a concern by some.

And theres no reason to think those concerns were valid.

I disagree but we have both stated an opinion that cannot be proven in either case.

So rumor has it, if the Browns have the #1 pick in the draft, Darnold is not going to declare for the draft.

A few sights also have the Giants taking Jackson or Allen at #2. In any case, If Darnold doesnt Declare, we have at least three teams taking QBs before we are on the clock unless one of those teams signs Cousins.

So while I know at least one poster, and probably a few others who wont admit it would love this outcome....

I seriously think we might actually draft RG4 without having to trade up.

Unfortunately, it's expected from those crazy kids at Ashburn.

Watch "Da'Ron Payne || "Relentless Lineman" || Sophomore Highlights || 2016" on YouTube

Campbell who has been the most accurate mock draft 3 years running has us currently taking Payne in the draft. After yeserday we will probably be picking 15th with a win over NY. Anyways, putting this guy next to Allen could change the defense.

Nose Tackle is still a huge need for the Redskins along with another ILB to pair with Brown and another OLB opposite of Kerrigan

I like what I'm seeing from Galette, and Smith was getting home when Allen was in there on Smith's side.

I could be wrong and it's real early, but I don't see Kirk signing long term and I don' see the Skins tying up 29 million in one position. My gut is telling me Tag and trade to Denver and McCoy and Lamar Jackson are the QBs next year.

I think Bruce takes the picks 1st and 3rd from Denver grabs Jackson and Payne, takes the 29m and re-signs Brown, Foster, Breeland?, Galette or Murphy, Long, and chases Landry and a LG (Norwell) in FA.

Jackson right or wrong just feels like a Snyder move. Something fans could be excited about. Something the numb the pain of Kirk leaving. Just my guess at this point.

McCoy is not gonna sell those luxury boxes. Jackson would for a year at least.

@kbso83432 If we are picking a QB based mostly on his ability to fill over priced luxury boxes, and the fact that he is the polar opposite of the QB we have, and more like the one that failed....

We are already screwed.

But I actually agree with you and I think Jackson is their ultimate target.

Just going over the roster, I just don't see how they can afford to tag Kirk again and keep any semblance of a team. Rosen and Darnold will be long gone. I think after the combine Allen will shoot up the charts and pass Jackson. That leaves Lamar, who I think can play but on the surface looks like a horrible fit for Jay's offense. O'Brien made it work with Watson so you never know.

I think Keenum stays, what will the Bengals want for Dalton? If he gets cut outright, I think Jay stands on the table for him and uses both #1s to address NT and either CB or ILB. Very early, but when you got guys like Keim already talking about life without Kirk and guys lime JP and Tandler podcasting about Jackson.......

Still holding out hope for a LTD though. Love Kirk, but my stance remains the same. Under no circumstances do I tag Kirk and keep him. LTD or tag and trade. This ordeal has run it's course imo.
