Oh, I'm serious. I'm tired of the rough ride and I'm looking for a little more creature comforts in my next vehicle. If I get another 3/4 ton I might get the latter, but I won't get the former.

It's time for a nice car.

Good boy Rex.

I can't imagine having a truck as a daily driver.

I need a truck to do what I do and there is no way a 1/2 ton pick up would stand up to the abuse I give it. Towing, plowing and hauling every day is hard on the equipment.

I had an old ragtop for a 2nd vehicle after the wife was sent packing, but it developed transmission issues and I junked it about 4 years ago. Might be time for another survivor.

Fear and Loathing in Massachusetts.....

I am not in Massachusetts and that is Nick Nolte in 48 Hours. If gas was .60/gal again I would get me one of them ginormous Caddy ragtops.

I know who that was in the car.

I just always liked Hunter S Thompson riding around in his whale.

Just bought a truck. On the recommendation of my good friend and mechanic (the only guy I let near my cars with a wrench) I picked up a 2017 Ram 1500 Quad Cab with the 5.7 Hemi. Fucking love it so far. First truck I've had in 15 years. Love that 5.7.

Went with the 2017 for the deal. Being 2018 now they wanted it off their lot and I got it for a song.

That's the one to get...right on the vid in that article. I like the half a back door - whatever that's called - so I can throw the kids in the back without them throwing a full door open and dinging my wife's POS in the garage.

450 lbs of torque and 30+ mpg. Something tells me that model will depreciate more slowly than the V8...and that means it's cheaper to own since a vehicle really costs what it depreciates.

I just hope Ford doesn't charge a shitload of money for that diesel option like Dodge does with theirs.

Not really surprised by this at all.
Nothing looks like it shouldn't. It's a Jeep.
It's been teased for some time now
I've read where it will come with a canvas top. So yeah, it's a Jeep

They should make the trucks have their headlights on their bumpers because even on low beam they are too high. Especially if they have the fogs on too. And if it's raining it's even worse.

They'll charge a few grand more simply because......which means (for me) it ain't worth it. I'd stick with the 2.7 and be done with it.

I saw on youtube where a dozen Ford mechanics were asked what engine they would go with if they were to purchase a new F-150 and all but two said they'd go with the 5.0L

Can't say I blame them...that Coyote is tried and true. I just like what ecoboost gives you - awesome torque when needed and great mpg (if you're light on the pedal) for a daily driver. Unfortunately, you can't get both at the same time.
